  1. Radio 5 covering the situation outside a lot more than BT Sport. They are saying there were ticketless fans, I guess it’s easier to close the gates and turn them all back than cope with a mass of ticketless fans. - if that’s what has happened.
  2. Not sure there is another way when you are a child. I was bullied at school by one individual, in the end I hit back, he never bullied me again (nor did anyone else) I was 10, what else could I have done?
  3. If that was the other way round, the sags would be shouting from the rooftops and demanding an inquiry/legal action if a team played an under strength side and potentially had a player who since being sold could net the club a few quid. I just don’t get this attitude of congratulating them and thinking it would be good to have two clubs at the same level we’d be better served if they went bust and we became a one club city. FTG I hope they have a torrid season in Division 3.
  4. The vocal minority? I’ve no idea if that’s the case, I’m sure there will have been Derby fans who took issue with it, but were as powerless as we are in influencing the running of our club.
  5. As fans, what could we do to change the way Steve Lansdown runs our club? Not a lot I’d say, the only way would be a season and on the day ticket boycott that had nigh on 100% support.
  6. In their current plight I have been impressed with Wayne Rooney, he could surely afford to have walked away and not had the relegation on his CV. I’m not wholly convinced the best way to punish a club is retrospective points deductions, it has penalised the players, the Manager and the fans, all of whom were totally innocent.
  7. If Jailbird Joey does manage to get the sags promoted, how long will he hang around if he gets a better offer……
  8. I like a nice fire pit, but can take or leave a BBQ, it’s a lot of fuss to grill a couple of chops or sausages……
  9. A great footballing character, I’m another who would have liked to see him here (although not in the last few years, more when he was in his pomp), a thoroughly decent bloke as well. I hope he gets some TV and punditry work, as he is very knowledgeable about the game.
  10. That was an interesting interpretation of the rules today, Stroll pitted under a safety car, swapped hards for mediums, pitted next time round and swapped back to hards, covering off his use of two tyre types in one lap under the safety car. Obviously OK, but is that the spirit of the rule, maybe they should set a lap limit, or that you must complete at least one lap under race conditions.
  11. …… how to lay yourself bare to get a sale! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154933141682?hash=item2412bc20b2:g:Uo0AAOSwUtJiS1uG
  12. I’m expecting a couple of red flags at least tomorrow, not sure the cars and tyres are quite right yet.
  13. That was a hell of a crash for Mick Schumacher and well done to Perez.
  14. R5 reporting that Australia is giving him a state funeral….. that’s some accolade.
  15. Shocking news, what a loss to cricket, condolences to his family. BTW @PHILINFRANCE not sure that huge picture is adding to a memorial thread.
  16. I’m assuming pm = per month, not per mile ?
  17. It’s tempting to turn over and watch Greg Wallace in an ice cream factory…..
  18. Just stop, it’s not clever, and FFS stop quoting posts that you know contain things that possibly shouldn’t be aired.
  19. I have no idea how Everton’s record signing is, I will admit I have gone from being pretty fanatical, not missing one of our games and watching any games on TV, so having a good idea of players through the leagues, to feeling somewhat indifferent to football now, can’t exactly put my finger on why, probably a few reasons.
  20. I just can’t believe that if this was widely known in the club that it could be kept secret and more importantly there wouldn’t be at least some employees, be they players or other staff that wouldn’t take some sort of stand. But then, if the girl and her family wanted to hush it up as well, who knows, maybe my slim hope of some decency left in the world is misguided.
  21. If there are people at Man U who knew the truth, then I doubt it was many, how could it have been kept quiet other wise, surely golden boy Rashford with his social conscience would have blown the lid if he’d known, wouldn’t he?
