  1. Not true, both my Euro 5 vans will be charged. With one of them, the same engine is in some cars and they’d not have to pay, where is the fairness in that?
  2. Not affordable or practical for the majority. I did look at getting a bus to work (it’s a 30-60 minute drive depending on the time I travel) to do it on the bus I’m looking at 3.5 hours each way, who is going to do that!
  3. Used to be some great nights back in the late 70’s early 80’s in the Crown basement. Seen a few split heads pogoing with that low ceiling ?
  4. I’ve just put the reg of my main vehicle into the gov checker, I’d have to pay in Birmingham and Bath, but not Portsmouth- how can there be such be variables, it’s nuts. It’s a small van, if I put a car with the same engine in, it would be free. I hate inconsistency and nonsense rules, of which a lot of these clean air zones are.
  5. I thought he was supposed to be sorting the medical team out……
  6. It’s a 3G pitch, must be the way the light reflects off it.
  7. Would some of those on your list, Bakinson springs to mind, become better players with more quaility and proper on field leaders around them? If the answer is yes, then may be some get a reprieve if and when we can sign some players that can find space, make and receive a pass and open up options for others.
  8. I’d disagree, no shots on target and soft goals conceded. Nothings working.
  9. We look OK until we get to their box, then the wheels fall off.
  10. If you sort the wheat from the chaff, there was some reasonable debate on here about it, I just ignored the comments on his style/ability.
  11. It really didn’t feel our pass rate was that much better…..
  12. The people posting on here aren’t representing Bristol Sport in a professional capacity.
  13. I’ve never heard anyone who knows him think he is anything else than a nice bloke, a good guy to have a pint with. Great career, longevity, win record and promotions, if the Warnock pitch side is a persona to achieve that, he hasn’t got much wrong, maybe others could learn from it.
  14. Personally, I think he’s overstepped the mark and would at best be looking at some sort of ‘training’ if that had been about a ladies team, if not the sack. Can’t see that many employers would be over enamoured with such posts.
  15. Yep, I thought SL were in the driving seat until that partnership was broken, great bit of cricket to win from losing the toss. Just hope whoever comes in picks up on that winning vibe going through the team at the moment.
  16. Really enjoyed it, the strategy interests me as well as the wheel to wheel racing. Hamilton may yet have to take another ICE, so when they do that will be interesting. Personally hope Verstappen wins the title, if his tyre hadn’t blown and Bottas hadn’t taken him out (unintentionally I appreciate) he’d be even further ahead. Hope there is a good battle to the end with nothing to mar the sport.
  17. All - when you think something is offensive or inappropriate don’t keep bloody quoting it, just report it! Easier to remove one post than many that needlessly quoted the content.
  18. This just backs up that something needs to be done with regard to parachute payments, it totally skews the Championship and as far as I am concerned it’s a joke of a league. There must be some way of levelling up, whether that be allowing owners to add funds up to the value of the PP without counting against FFP, or the Premier league paying the differential in wages to players that are relegated until end of contract, so the club does not receive money for failure. Another option would be a compulsory clause in Premier league player (and footballing staff, Managers, coaches etc.) that reduces their salary to Championship level in the event of relegation. How such a system is allowed to continue and disadvantage 21 clubs every season is a disgrace and should be dealt with as a matter of urgency, this season is looking quite likely that three failures will be rewarded handsomely with PP and a return to the Prem.
  19. Really….. Cardiff last 8 games LLLLLLLL
  20. His remit was keep Newcastle in the Prem, which he did but a decent margin, whoever went there was always going to be treading water with no cash to spend. I wish we had a shambles like that…….
