Sad news, he came across as one of footballs nice guys. Enjoyed watching his Chelsea side. Someone told a story on R5 this evening ( an ‘ordinary bloke’) said he and his wife had gone to a restaurant for an anniversary, they had booked but it was full and they were being turned away, Luca was in there with his wife and invited them to sit at their table. Wouldn’t let this couple pay for anything, and he also sent signed pictures and other stuff to the couples kids a few days later.

Bob Taylor, you expect players to move on, but the timing and almost dismissive manner of his move was a real low at the time.

They are, if I go in they’ll cook me something off menu, did me a proper feast for my birthday one year, just a shame GM isn’t in walking distance.

Blue Ginger used to be top notch, it was owned by the brothers who own Golden Moments in Saltford, it has changed hands a couple of times since they decided to concentrate all their efforts into the Saltford restaurant. Went to Blue Ginger once for Xmas dinner and the food was all home cooked, their mum made some awesome dishes not usually on the menu. To be honest, I find Paprika in the same rank of shops to be better now, but that is still just a decent curry house, although nothing out of the ordinary as far as dishes or originality

MvG gracious in defeat, final played in a great spirit between them, obvious respect for each other’s games.

I think if I was to pick one I’d like to win, it would on reflection be MvG, comes across OK on interviews and after last year, may be it is his time.

Went out for a quick pint last night and got led astray, so missed most of the nights play, just seen that Price has made himself unpopular again, was it really that bad when watching live?

I can normally let Mardle’s nonsense pass me by, but tonight he has been at his most annoying, is it the more exciting the games, the more bollocks he spouts……
