I think we're in danger of having tunnel vision focusing on the Ashes. To much 'planning' for that and not assessing the teams we're playing right now.

Sod the ashes right now, winning down under is one is tough no matter what. Never mind for a team like this in transition.  Should be now focusing on how best to play against India not about how we improve our batting line up for Australia.

    Agree 100%

In one day cricket and 20/20 plan for the world cups

In test match cricket you should focus only on the next series

I looked at records back to August 2012.....no trace of one over 12,000. The nearest they got was 11,750 in April 2017.....against Millwall

Last 12k plus gate as far as i could see was 1984/85 season

Give you all one guess who that was against!!!

Benn has really improved. He's got a good personality too - right mix of humble and brash.

Broner would be a really good name. I think Josh Kelly could be a good fight for him too.

Watched Kelly s last fight Lots of skill and fast but when it got tough showed no heart what so ever

Can anyone explain why if a ball pitches outside leg it can’t be given out LBW?

Ive never understood the rationale behind it.

It was to stop negative bowling

IF you needed to really slow the run rate down(Olden days Test Matches)

they would bowl around the wicket aiming just outside leg stump and stick7/8 fielders on the leg side

Kohli’s captaincy was questioned on C4 saying today that today was his fourth consecutive defeat. Absolutely no doubting his brilliance as a batsman tho.

    That said

im sure there would be posters on otib wanting him dropped after getting a duck!!

Surely the rovers will go down the cheapest option which is to give the job to someone already at the club so they don't have the extra expense of employing a third manager of the season

No chance will they do the cheap option

Gas mate text me hour ago

Club has no debt as wally paid it all off

10m training ground being built No need to go cheap!!

In the last 30 years we’ve averaged under 10k in 3 seasons.

In the last 30 years they’ve averaged under 10k every season.

But of course, we have a similar core support don’t we...

    That made them look good

Its been 44 seasons in a row under 10k

It was way back in 1976 when they last got over 10k  (10,022)

That wasnt a bad year for us if i remember correct

Cracking game that, Price through by skin of his teeth.  Finishing let both players down, Gurney will regret going down 2 sets to nil at start.

Not as much as losing the last set

Suddenly started thinking how bad the BDO darts would be given they nearly folded last year due to lack of cash but it seems they went into liquidation in Sept.

Can we get lakeside back on the PDC calendar please..

Now Jollees has reopened they should bring that back as well!!!!!

Canelo has a solid chin but BJS has some pop in those shots, so I don't know if Canelo will walk through them, he won't want to do a Hatton/Froch kind of taking clean shots to get his off. I think he will have some respect for BJS power.

But of course Canelo has some quality boxing skills of his own of course.

I actually think BJS could cause him problems. The speed, movement and feints will be Canelo's biggest challenge in terms of boxing skills since Floyd imo.

I thought Canelo clearly lost the first GGG fight, 2nd one a bit closer. GGG is actually not the hardest to hit though as he doesn't move his head.

Having said this my money would be on Canelo, a points decision.

    Interesting view on BJS

When i have watched him I think great skill, abit on the dirty side but just a bit short on power to be really world class
