That game you mention was 14 months after Gavin signed for us. O’Dowda has been here over 5 years. How many more chances does this guy get?

Couldn’t have said it better myself. He’s been here over 5 years and continued time after time and chance after chance to woefully under deliver. The only reason he’s still here is no one wanted to buy him and his contract is still in flight; otherwise I would think he would’ve gone with the rest of the LJ/Ashton deadwood in the summer. He’s got one year left of his contract so hopefully he’ll be gone for a small fee in January or his contract won’t be renewed next summer.

You’d think after his numerous chances O’Dowda would’ve done something by now; but no, in yet another chance against Millwall he displays his entire mediocre to poor Bristol City career to date. Apart from being beyond frustrated with him what really boils my piss is that his inclusion keeps one of our up and coming youngsters out of the team. Enough now.

Couldn’t agree more. I can’t see us ever being able to sell him, anyone know when his contract is up? I am pretty sure had it been in the summer he wouldn’t be here now.

Said much the same elsewhere mate. Bakinson average at best tonight but why O’Dowda got in the team is baffling, him yet again proving his perennial mediocrity. Hopefully the first choice players will be back soon.

Agreed, it was better with less people. As a few people have said now, myself included, just some basic voice conferencing etiquette is needed on FBC and it’d be a much better listen.

Enjoyed the “shove your email up your arse”, “we’ll stand where we want” and “your in my seat” chants today!

Best home game yet for me. Fulham were clearly a better side with some quality players but our commitment and endeavour was superb: the lads left nothing out there today and gave it all, especially in the last half hour. Palmer’s goal felt like a winner! Really feels like Nige is building something special here.

I wonder what reception Reid, Bryan and Mawson will get? Reid was “always Bristol City to me” before he went to Cardiff, will he still be welcomed? Bryan was “one of our own” and part of the famous Man Utd beating side so should be assured a good reception. Mawson? Well he looked really good until injured but hardly that memorable so perhaps a muted reaction?
