  1. If you don't know who the persons are ask your parents sorry ask your grand parents What did JT once say he wanted to prove?
  2. Use to love reading the above statement, when I first started watching football So Cardiff was our first double of this season So we have four chances to have a double this season Two at Home and two away in Reading Peterborough Barnsley and Derby
  3. Its a financial services type advert and it was on during Dave of soap box challenge at midday on Sunday approx 13 minutes in. Its available again on the play again thingy
  4. Etora advert sponsored by five football teams seems to have Bristol City at home against an all yellow strip team, being shown on a television in the distance Bright sunshine(early or late in the season?) with the shadows of girders of the Lansdown Stand falling onto the pitch. The pitch markings seem very "Bristol City" With the LED hoardings showing purple and lime green Any think the same as me?
  5. Bad news if you like catching up on all the "grannys cat stuck up a tree stories" on your two local news programmes Monday night at 17:55pm on ITV4 features Arsenal v Bristol City from August 1976 Good news its repeated again at 12:15pm the following day(Tuesday) No forgetting the big match continues at 10:30am on (this) saturday morning on ITV4
  6. as the other lot are away to Swindon at the same time as ourselves. I expect that we will be on DAB only, I presume our match will start on all frequencies, then be on DAB only If you wanna listen to a totally bised radio commentary BBC radio Wales is on channel 807 Which can be heard can heard over large swathes of the English/Welsh border areas Also commentary can be heard on the South East Wales frequencey of FM 103:9
  7. Be warned that double yellow lines have been been painted on corners in the Ashton area. Along with the one way system on Dalby Avenue traffic speeds will be slower than a normal match day Thankfully the kick off time and finishing time will be in day light f
  8. In fairness to TomF, I think most of us post items in good faith, wouldn't expect anyone to know everything that is happening 110 miles away from home
  9. Contacted the Temperance pub and they stated the increase in prices from first thing in the morning,Guiness is £5.80p The other thing I don't like about the place is they have a "square bar" and won't/don't serve from the other three sides of the bar So I am off across the river to east putney undeground station to watch the Luton v Bournemouth match after I have been to the hard days night photo exhibition
  10. The leaders in Wales are considering relaxing the rules around sporting events, lets just hope.
  11. Thanks for all the replys, and as reward for your thoughts if any of the replyers are heading to Fulham I'll buy your first pint at the fox and hounds pub which is on the southern side of the river, next to Pultney train stration and the pints are cheaper there.
  12. For those heading to Fulham by train, suggest buying your own bottles of pop and chocky bars and crips, and if your on the early departures get yer hot drinks from station outlets I can see the trains being very busy
