I'll try and explain each photo and some of the comments 1)The bin,I was actually trying to take a photo of the stand we were housed in 2) The electric LED wellcome sign showing Millwall should have said Bristol City, nice idea when it works. 3)Mill hill train station its nearer, buts its a fair walk as I have done it a couple of times before, although the happy chappy on the ticket gates at Blackburn train station didn't seem as if he wanted to be there. Mill hill would have been better if you did not want to negotiate the ticket gates at Blackburn but there are more bus's heading to and from Blackburn train station to the ground on their way to Darwen. 5)Fans being moved,I think a lot of clubs are adopting this system. 6)The orange blob is the red signal post at the end of the platform 7)Martin Parr Arnoes Vale can you remind me of what this is about 8)Nigel not being happy with being housed in the upper tier, see reply above. 480 City fans were in attendance 9)QUESTION:What did the dark side fail to get a photos/pictures of? -

the Government has announced you can buy dirt cheap tickets from 19 april to 3rd May for travel between 25 april and 27 may As both of these trips will be mostly on cross country,it MIGHT save a few some money Gonna find out what the turn up on the day fare is. not sure how cheap the tickets will be though

apart from ourselves all kicking off at 3pm its blackpool v swansea accrington v charleton bolton v plymouth morcambe v cheltenham carlisle v northampton rochdale against barrow So I presume the motorway services will be very busy as well so fill up with cheap(er) fuel before you set out and take your own pop crisps and sandwiches with you

Darwen was the setting for a Norman Wisdom film(ask your grand parents),called "their was a crooked man" It featured a town in Britain being destroyed by an bogus American General played by Norman Wisdom. The rumour goes that the USA asked for the film not to be released as it was showing the USA in a bad light. It was at the height of "the bay of pigs" in cuba incident, again ask your grand parents. The film was finally released nearly FIFTY YEARS later in 2017,yes I have got a copy. Having said that, there was a perfect copy doing the rounds on you tube with Russian audio. Weather conditions for Darwen/Blackburn on Saturday is dry with broken sunshine in the afternoon See the rest of you hordes in Lancashire on Saturday

Any sensible folks need a lift to Blackburn?
Never to the dark side replied to Harry's topic in Football Chat
Suggest stoping off at Darwen just south of Blackburn, see my seperate posting of the reason why. -
With the partial closure of Dalby Avenue, there were fixed LED information signs around the Bristol area advising drivers to avoid the area. I know there was one near the bottom of the M32,now gone. 1)Would any know where any of the Dalby Avenue information signs are 2)or a picture/photo of said signs Thank you

Half listening to BBC WM on saturday and trying to get the commentary of the City v Birmingham game The walsall commentator said Tomlin looked very lively. I await events with Tomlin in the the coming weeks and months.

Thanks for the replys, but I recall some one said in the past about the last game Bristol City played at Griffin Park. They were in the Griffin pub and watched the Brentford v City game as they could not get a ticket for the game Maybe the pub had a commercial subscription as well as a domestic home subscription, and thats what they were using.
