Popped in there today(Thursday) and just a heads up that the kitchen is being refurbished and there is a possibility that food might not be served until Saturday afternoon.
Just in case any one is heading their before the City v Forest game

unashamed "BUMP"
As Semmenyo might make an appearance,as Ghana are out of the AFCOM and Ghana played their last match on Monday night just gone.
-
12:30pm
Starting in the dark(winter times only) and after a good nights sleep, hopefully,
and two and maybe three hours drive home in day light.

The balloon fiesta takes place over weekend 10/11 august 2024 and the new season starts the same weekend
FIVE of the TWELVE match's will be televised LIVE each weekend, legally
I originally thought the five live games were to be scheduled for fri/sat/sun/mon
I think all five games will go up BT/TNT 12:30pm kick offs on Saturday.
As I have stated before I prefer 12:30pm kick offs for AWAY GAMES,as it gives more time for those who drive home a bit more day light.

Your a Gent,
that will save me a few hours looking for the Glyn Riley article.
Now I just need that telephone audio to Australia, the Bolton game was played on Saturday 24thMay 1986
So I presume it would have been in and around that time
May 1986 there was no proper Green Un
Green Uns were publish up to 1979 and then restarted again in 1997
So it would have been an article in the Evening Post/Western daily press

Not guaranteed that either will start, but the Welsh TV channel that complains it ain't got any money,
will have the FA Cup match between Bournemouth and Swansea match on S4C starting at 19:20pm

or even the Green Uns
involving Bristol City football events?
The ones I would like to get hold of, or even copies or the approx dates are
In the DAF final against Bolton a Bristol City fan in Australia paid someone in Bristol to have their two land line phones connected so an audio of the match could be heard down under
Glyn Riley when his wife accidentally taped over a tape which had all the goals he had scored on,
Jed pitman of HTV fame saw his(GR) plight and put together another tape of GR goals

Glad to here that,
hope its worth staying up late/getting up early for.

Looking at that list it seems the game is not being beamed into Australia or New Zealand.

17:30pm till 17:45pm on ITV 4,

Radio Bristol reporting that our number one fan is doing the commentary on BBC1.
Well worth taping the match and see how many Bristol City connections he gets into the commentary

The 09:00am service from Bristol temple meads to London is showing up as CANCELLED.
Train services can be re-instated,which I hope they can be.
The 10:00am service is also shown up as CANCELLED
The 09:15am and 10:15am from BTM start there journeys at Swansea,so I presume they will be very busy by the time they arrive in Bristol
Please advise any City followers you know,
of the cancellations,
as they might be able to get on the 07:45am service
