And who will take his place? Bristol City is a managers graveyard.
I vote for Ian Gay.

When reading some posts on twitter from a certain BBCRB officianado (in his own mind!!!) last night and he was suggesting we have to play through the thirds, beat the press, play our own game, etc....I wondered what Bristoi City team he'd watched this season.
Back on track, I totally see why Martin has been picked today, both when we have it and when we don't (set-pieces especially). We aren't gonna be able play pretty football, questions whether we even try, so Martin is an obvious starter. It seems once you have a bad game any decent games are no longer considered. Overall he's been okay this season hasn't he, had a few off games, but had some good ones too.
6-3, 4-6, 1-1 40-15
But not good enough recently. Deserves to be dropped and if necessary come on later in the game. He's lethargic, not his fault, just the way he is.

3 games ago he scored the winner so it’s 2 games. We don’t have any players that are very good every game so not sure what you’re expecting
Remind me, what else did he do in that game. If you're happy with a slow odd flick on striker then I'm happy for you. Me, I expect more.

If Wells played up front on his own today then everyone would be saying that’s not what suits him against this WBA team and we missed Martin.
We've missed Martin for 2 or 3 games now. Nothing new.

How the hell does Martin keep his place
Because the manager is obviously not seeing what we see. Pearson hasn't convinced me from day one.

Against Fulham, Martin tried to drift onto Ream rather than Tosin.

I take exception to you not reading your own post. I was obviously referring to the 2 guests that you were suggesting could not spell they're own names. They must be prowed to be on sound of the city.
Well, I take exception to you not spelling proud correctly.

Chris Martin is an international footballer and a very good player. Anything written on here that’s negative about the fella just emphasizes the amount of numpties that this place gives a voice too!
Hi Chris. Good second half today, keep it up.

Great finish , classy even . @Desso whats think
I think that Martin is deceptive. He's slower than he looks.

The main reason I rarely comment on the match day thread . Everyone’s a ******* expert when the teams announced
plus the one or two that have crawled out of the woodwork after one defeat in 6
So everybody has to bow to your greater knowledge and opinion do they? You've got your opinions, I've got mine. Live with it!

Wells isn’t fit is he . So who do you think who’s better that leads the line . Especially away from home ?
Anyone. Try Vyner up there. He had a few good games in midfield last season. Playing Martin is like playing with ten men. Hope Weimann decides to join in today.

Would you prefer he was running up and down the stands giving fans high fives while we sit in the relegation zone in division 1?
No, but a bit of involvement wouldn't go amiss.

Oh, that Jon Lansdown. The chairman who hasn't been seen or heard of meaningfully for over a year, and seems to spend most of his time in Bermuda whilst his dad runs things. Right, got him now.

Sorry, who's Jon Lansdown?

Give it a rest John. Your bias against the local media is boring.

We have become a reasonably good counter attacking side but at home struggle to break down stubborn defences.
My theory is that Largish Nige has decided to make us look easy to beat at Ashton Gate so that opposing teams come at us thus enabling us to counter.

He really is the Messiah.
