I hope I’m very wrong but I can see us losing by a few today. Normally an optimist but Burnley have really impressed me this season to the point where they have been good but clearly have a high ceiling to get a lot better. We had the majority of possession against Norwich but I’d be surprised if that happened today. Hopefully this is being quoted back to me by loads of you at 4:50. Heart says 2-2 though!

Depends how long you spend thinking about it I guess. You are ignoring who was picked ahead of him. You may well think that Scott is more deserving than one of them but it can hardly be considering a scandal that he hasn’t been picked. He is competing against very good players in his position.

Certainly wouldn’t say it’s ridiculous he isn’t in the under 21s squad. Maybe he should be in there but it’s not a complete no brainer

As xG seems to be talked about as how good a team is at chance creation it is interesting that it gives a team credit for a shot that they themselves did nothing to create. Haaland goal last night also interesting in that xG rated that as a better chance than Bellingham’s goal despite popular opinion being that there are hardly any strikers who would finish that ‘chance’

Not surprising or weird I’d say. Every game that goes by his belief in this group will be growing. Last night was a potential banana skin where players could have hidden at 2-0 away to a top team. They didn’t and so, despite the loss, he will be even more positive after the game than before it

I agree it was a good performance and worth praise but just can’t see it was excellent.

Take Naismith out of that team and put Kalas in and what is the result? Do we play in the same way? Do we cut teams open as easily ? Very much opinion as we will never know. Personally I’d play Naismith

We need to stick with Naismith where he is for sure. A big part of how we play. People can’t have it both ways. If he cuts out the silly errors then what a player. Hope this post is okay @Lew-T !

Not at all. Just pointing out that it isn’t an excellent performance. There has been a lot of criticism of the goals we conceded tonight on this thread. Going forward it was generally a pleasure to watch though.

I watch sport to be entertained and I really enjoyed tonight’s game. I’ve not said I didn’t enjoy it.
