I think Yeboah is my new fave player.

Ahhh the old “let’s all leave the ball flashing across the box” play.

Good shot Conway, well held by their keeper
Therein lies the difference in the score line.

Got to be Yeboah time.

Good clearance? Hmmm, I’d have to see it again.

I think tonight is the night Tony’s lad Olen’s his account for us. His busy nature is made for this game.

He made one very good save though.
The one to stop us going 2-0 down? Yeh. Decent save that.

Yep, and just stood still and watched their shot against the post. He may well redeem himself second half of course but that was a poor half from him.
In fairness I think that was a massive deflection.

I know a lot on here have followed the Ipswich thing pretty keenly in the last few years because of the Ashton link, but I haven’t.
Can someone very briefly explain how they have seemingly gone past us so quickly? Are they playing a risky financial game in classic Ashton style, or are they just recruiting better than us and (dare I say it) being well run?
I think their manager is pretty good by all accounts. Sometimes things just click, and that seems to be the case with them.
I still think their bubble will burst though.

Just watched the goal back, it’s 18 yards out and it’s horrendous keeping just for clarification.

If I was SL seeing this it would back up the squad needing help in investment, Not poor coaches in need of replacing
I’d be thinking “aren’t Fleetwood on a good run?”

Sadly he is a League 1 keeper. I have little confidence in the lad when players shoot from distance .
For me it always happens when I just start to feel comfortable with him.
He’s a bit like a “x days since last accident” poster, but can never really get past 30 odd.

No, but making memes mugging him off is pretty much as mocking as it gets.
You simply say it's his fault to own.Oh… I’ve not seen any.

The issue with the shot at Max was it was low, fast and he'd already prepared to dive so couldn't put his foot out and couldn't get down low quick enough with his hand. It's unfortunate but it's still his mistake to own.
Don't think it helps seeing our fans seem to enjoy mocking him though, bit stupid really when you consider we have no replacement to give him competition, why mock your keeper and knock his confidence further?I don’t think suggesting he should save a routine shot is mocking him.
Would you prefer we all said “well done Max you tried your best”?

Edge of the box and fairly tame. xG gave it just a 5% chance of going in. Max has to take some blame, but so does the outfield for allowing the space.
5% kinell.

But saved us minutes earlier. The trouble is Max has no competition.
The Hollywood save?

I'd like to see it again, but Ithought Max had no chance - free shot at pretty close range
No way. 15 yards, close enough to comfortably save.

Fortunately for Max he has no competition.

He’s hit it well, but 22 of 24 championship keeper save that.

Oh Max. (I think)

I’d probably just lose a bit of interest to be honest. And every appreciation I have for SL would be washed away.
