Pitman scored for AFCB
Whereas technically your use of the word 'again' is correct, I'm pretty sure I saw on here the other day that his tally for the season was 5 (now 6).

Just imagine if Sammy was able to put away his chances...
We'd probably be in the Champions League and we'd have won the ashes 5-0.

I'm glad the thread title includes the fact that this is an FA Cup tie. Otherwise I might have ended up on the City Watford championship match thread.

I've taught my 17 month old daughter to shout and wave her arms when I say Bristol City, much to the annoyance of my Florest in laws.
This should be marked with nothing other than a win!
COYR!

Cook cannot be dropped. He's far too good a batsman (normally). I've lost all patience with Pietersen.
Stokes looks a decent prospect and we could do with the Trott of old.

As it's a Cricket thread......
Corey Anderson stroked a scarcely-believable innings of 131 not out in New Zealand's win over the West Indies at Queenstown today, breaking the world record for the fastest ODI century.
His ton came off 36 balls, beating Shahid Afridi's 18-year-old record by one delivery. His stay at the crease lasted 51 minutes and spanned 41 balls, good for a strike rate of 279.
I saw that, incredible. And good to see Jessie Ryder's return with a ton.
-
What were his figures again?
0-89.
But I ask again, name another cricketer who would have been given only 23 overs never to be seen again.
Imagine if the Aussie selectors had done so with a certain leggie who returned 1-150 in his test debut.
If you're fishing, you're doing a stupendous job!

You've got me started now.
If Thorpe had held that catch Australia would've been about 90-5.
He didn't. They got 500. We lost by an innings.
Can you honestly say any other player would be dropped after bowling only 23 overs in his test career. Curse of the Glos strikes again.
-
Mike smith did well for England didn't he?
Yeh. Really given a fair chance on a pitch that was more of a road.
If I remember correctly didn't he have have Elliott dropped early doors and he went on to get a big score.
He has Graeme Thoroe to thank for his single test.
Don't get me started.

Like Andrew Symonds, you mean?
Possibly the biggest **** up in English cricket history. Symonds scoring hundred after hundred at about the age of 20 playing for Glos. Easily out scoring everyone.
So we choose to offer him a place in the England A squad. I genuinely believe that he'd have been the best English batsman for that generation if we'd only offered him a senior spot. But I suppose he did play for Gloucester & that in itself is a reason not to pick him.
Joke.

Also one awful series, I don't think Flower should be kicked. Lets see if it acts as a reality check and how they do next summer. Flower has done an incredible amount for the England side.

I remember saying to a mate before the start of the series that Anderson's stock had peaked. As good a servant as he has been, I think he's nearing the end.
Pietersen, although devastating at times, needs to learn that a run a ball 50 is not what we need when our backs are against the wall. Far too irresponsible.
Panesar has never really done it for me.
Bresnan is in the team simply because he's a Yorkie. He couldn't be more average.
Still, there's always the 5th Test...

Oh come on. Not again!

That's the freemasons
Haha.

The more he misses ,the more he'll score.
I miss the logic.

Gutted, I was looking forward to getting down to the game today, but the most delicate description of what has stopped me is 'an upset belly' - i think 30% or more of boxing day has been spent sat in the smallest room
The pantry?
-
Anyone think baldock's many missed chances will come back to bite us?
Why change the story of the season?
-
A bit like the keeper did everything right there apart from make a save.
The batsman did everything right there but fail to defend his stumps.
This could go on a while.

I do believe last week I said that penalties are like London buses.
I prefer it this way.
COYR.
-
Unbelievable.
-
I hate this added time business.
-
This is far too deep
That's what the wife said.
-
H/t whistle went at about 2 mins to 4.
About 58 minutes after ko then.
Great. So when we should be celebrating a much needed win at 1650hrs, we'll still be holding on for dear life!
-
Was someone saying last week that we hadn't had a penalty for 9 months?
London buses I reckon...
