    Good point. I suppose in these days of statistical analysis, there’s probably data to show how far they’ve run in training or what their maximum heart rate was. Kasey Palmer must be enjoying his 20k quite a lot.

    Yeh… I like to think the club activating a year is more about protecting an asset rather than seeing him as the future. He can look really decent against poor teams, but I’d be very surprised if he’s in Nige’s long term plans.

    I don’t think he’s signed anything. We’ve activated a years option which hopefully means he continues to get paid very little… although whatever he’s on I’d suggest it’s too much.
