Shirts look beautiful, are they going to sell them?
They were sold on line last week (and quickly sold out) and I believe they're now available in the club shop.

How much better do shirts look without a sponsor all over the front. So much nicer.

I can't help but think that this afternoon is going to be a slog. We can safely say that we play far better when teams come at us and want to attack. We have an ability to win the ball and exploit the gaps. QPR will be a team who will be desperate not to lose so will have everyone behind the ball. We should win this but it isn't going to be a thriller.

2-0 when they got relegated, and Sproule ran half the length of the pitch to slot in !
I worked out that I was deployed to the Gulf when that game took place. I think I missed the whole season give or take a week or two.

Great play but frustrating around their box in the first half. Great play but more positive and much better quality in and around their box in the second half.
We were running them so hard that by the last 10 minutes all they had left was to drag our lads over
Bloody great performance.

Possession based football for the team who are losing.
We've punished them every time they've lost the ball. That's been great to watch

Nice and tidy at the back. Looking great in the middle, especially on the counter but oh for the love of our Lord Adge Cutler we lack quality in and around the box.
Almost every pass before the final shot has been too far ahead or behind, hit too hard or too short. It's leaving too much to do.
We've got to keep at it in the second half and not let up.
Apart from the frustration around the box it's great to watch though.

Outplaying the in form team and 75% of the posts are moans. No idea why you guys bother to watch!
Because when we are outplaying the in form team we need to capitalize on that with a goal otherwise they're likely to show us why they're the in form team.

Can't help notice the number of empty seats tonight. Probably the jammed fixture list hitting people's pockets

Aww, if Knight could have hit the ball first time.

A long away day after a packed run of fixtures. Pleased we've put the brakes on a poor run of league form. That's a good 3 points against a team in the same position as us.
-
Ah well. Good effort lads.
On to Saturday then.

What a time to lose the forum

****'s sake, Owers has just blown my left ear drum out.
Thought we'd scored again.
I wish they'd calm the **** down.

How do we beat these teams?

I was going to post this in its own thread but I think it sits qutie well here.
I looked back at our possession stats for a number of previous games. On average the less possession we have the more likely we are to win the game. Also, teams that are higher up the table are likely to have more of the ball and we're more likely to play well against them. Its strange but this table seems to show that fact: In this sample range of our last 18 league games, we've never beaten a team when we've had 50 percent or more possession.
