We've come through two tricky away games with four points to show for it. I'll take that all day. Well done City.

Come on City. Maximum focus til the end. Hold on M'Babbers.

Looks to me like the enforced changes at the back due to injuries has certainly not helped here.

Come on City. Pinch the win.

Is that sign in the background "Manors Crap" a statement about the Mem?

Off to the shops to buy cider.
Great win.

James Wilson gets Walsall`s equalizer at the mem - is he the one we used to have?
Yes it is.

Sounds like an even game so far. I'll take 0-0 at HT. Hopefully we can push on in the second half.

When do we play up there?
Saturday 28th October.

Staggering fact about Sunderland just discussed on SSN, they have only scored six goals at home this year.

Nice picture of the South Stand @RedM I can see myself
As for the game, the ref was awful, the atmosphere was flat, the crowd sparse and Bristol's performance was poor.
Not a great start to the season.

I've seen Clifton RFC's name chucked around on here as an option for the sags. I don't know how many people have been there but I've seen a number of Bristol Rugby friendlies there and there is absolutely zero infrastructure for any sort of immediate ground share.
While there is a decent amount of land there (probably the equivalent of 5 full size pitches) it is way out in the sticks and parking for a few hundred cars would be a nightmare let alone those that come with 6 or 7 thousand fans.
As for a redeveloped Mem, that's been on the cards in various forms for decades and no one has come up with a sensible proposal due to the footprint of the ground. The thought of 'world class' stadium developers producing anything of note there is frankly laughable. At best I believe they'd be looking at an all seated capacity in the region of 14k max. Still, the sprinklers and curtains would be world class.

Loving the cricket today. Great knocks by Collingwood and Stokes and now our bowlers ripping into them.
Happy days.

When Unigate stopped delivering in our area, Dunfords took over the rounds. My mum cancelled the milk order instantly and it was a walk to the shops there after.

Come on, give the poor buggers a break. I can imagine the board meeting now:
"Gentleman, we have a tough choice to make. It's either a new sprinkler, a spruce up of the carpets and curtains, a few plastic chairs and give the canopy a quick once over or..... we invest in an electronic ticketing system"
"Well it's a no brainer.... the carpets. That way we may get a tenner left over to invest in a few new players"

To be honest I'd be less embarrassed carrying around a gnome in City colours than wearing our ******* awful training tops.
