Just the 16,669 in attendance that day. Good rare goal by Skuse. In the defence that night included Foster and McGivern, remarkable we stayed up that year. Chris Wood and Stead up front who scored a few crucial goals to ultimately keep us up (Barnsley 2-0 win a few days later did the trick).

Agreed. If Fabianski, Zouma, Ogbonna start in the replay, we will give them another bloody good game, that's for sure.

Very sorry to hear this news. RIP to a fellow red. My brother-in-law tragically also died aged 31 a month ago so certainly feel your pain at this sad time.

Went to both games this weekend, was pretty epic. Stadium was incredible. Fair play to the Argies near the end, incredible atmosphere they created. Relived England got the job just about done against Fiji, I guess it's a free pass against SA now so who knows!?

Thinking someone like Leicester when they go up, perfect Vardy replacement.

Contracted until 2026 I was shocked to just find out! Looking forward to the winter where Rovers are in the bottom half, yet again, will their fans turn on JB and pressure the owner for JB's head?! How loyal will they be after yet another underwhelming season...

Honorable mention for Jamie McAllister? Pretty solid throughout.

Day I will never forget. I was very fortunate to win OTIB's prediction league so my prize was myself and my Dad being invited as Steve Lansdown's guest in the Director's box. As a then 17/18-year-old, this was quite a surreal experience. I cannot speak highly how lovely Maggie Lansdown and Marina Dolman were to us both. When the players went to the Director's area after the game, with the huge sea of fans on the pitch, I was directly behind them and right amongst the celebrations. I will never forget those special moments, but at the same time it was a bit of a blur! Remember briefly speaking to Gary Johnson after the game and suggested we sign Chris Iwelumo from Colchester who was in superb form at the time. Sadly he went to Charlton, but later briefly joined City on a short term loan in 2010.

Big fan of the pitch normally, but Dolman side of the pitch is really poor today (compared to normal high standards). Bet groundsmen can't wait for the season's end. Fingers crossed for no new injuries today. ?

Not strictly 100% true about 'improving their squad no end'. It's worth watching the show 'Captains' on Netflix about various country's vying to qualify for the last World Cup. The British based players actually caused lot of friction amongst the home-based Jamaican team (don't think our Bob was one of the messers though!) which ultimately led to a poor qualifying campaign. Hopefully with more time, the British based players will become more embedded and part of the team and culture of their side as they seek to qualify for the next big competition(s).
