Disgraceful run of results

Got sent an email from a Millwall fan this week of city being turned over outside the Greg pub in London… never had to rely on them and glad that this kind of thing is something of the past… Football has evolved in terms of experience and as much as it pains me to say it but the premier league has made this happen by appealing to a wider audience after the 1990 World Cup. it reached out to families and was inclusive of women and children… I can’t see it ever going back to the dark shameful days.

Indeed and I also don’t believe the “We are not far right” bullshit that they are coming out with. I am pretty sure I had seen in the past sites and individuals linked to football firms frequently sharing posts from Britain First and that Paul Golding muppet who are about as far right as it gets.

Definite difference this season in terms of fitness, work ethic, discipline and shape. I think the days of us getting turned over heavily are behind us, and if you do beat us it won’t be easy.

Yeah and me- always remember how strange it felt how the players were not allowed to shake hands before that match yet fans were going wild hugging eachother when Wells scored…think that was the first time I realised that something big and very weird was happening. -

Great composure from Weimann with that lay off, could easily of had a swing -
There’s chasing a dream, then there is just irresponsible people running a club. Be careful what you wish for.

Dreadful watch and they thoroughly deserved a point. Still struggling to see the progress I’m afraid. -
Absolutely spot on… totally agree

Atmosphere is dire, like many have said it doesn’t help when some of the songs are too complicated, or the embarrassing “bounce around” cringe fest.

Really really good performance, Weimann stand out performer obviously but the defence and Bentley were superb -

Solid 3-1 defeat I fear- hopefully we can keep playing with a high energy level and can continue to see more small shoots of positivity -
Very sad news about the loss of Havantopia- seemed to be someone who had a good story to tell. Wasn’t he living somewhere odd for an expat? I can’t remember where but he always apologised for late match day threads because of the time difference. Anyway onto the game, I can only see a very resounding 2-0 defeat and lots more questions than answers

Fingers crossed he goes- may get some money to boost the coffers for the striker we desperately need

They have just signed Louie Barry on loan- look to have a very impressive squad -
Just signed for the gas- think he will still be pretty decent at that level

The Coronavirus and its impact on sport/Fans Return (Merged)
MC RISK77 replied to Loderingo's topic in Football Chat
Can I ask a question that I have no idea what the answer is at all that may add a layer of complexity to longer term covid implications. The vaccine take up is clearly impressive in uk and we appear to have less sceptics than other countries. My question is that if the fear train starts slowing down over the next year and you need a booster jab every 6 months to keep your level of immunity, what happens if that high take up drops if more data is available by then of longer term effects of the vaccine (if their is any) or previously vaccinated people feel they don’t want to have a booster? Will we go back to lockdown days or will the govt become even more authoritarian? -
Barton’s meltdown I’m the game Man City won their first premier league was immense, second only to cantonas Kung fu kick for football player violence I have see live.

I agree and apparently No flu deaths this year so far....hhhmm smells a bit fishy to me -
I like Lee and glad he is doing well, I think he will take them up this year and also win the EFL. Sunderland are starting to appear more on my weekly bets and looks like he has some real momentum

MC RISK77 replied to Better Red's topic in All Things Ex Players and Managers
Haha some of you need to get out more!! Who the hell is lez and why would anyone obsess about someone changing their name on a football forum. As for semenyo good goal but he needs to do show he can replicate it consistently
