  1. I have thought for a while that I think we will be relegated as well.
  2. Didn’t see but hopefully he did- I hate all of this sentimental respect rubbish!!
  3. Yep absolutely - a championship relegation battle with a team as soft as shite as this can do more harm than good for the younger players.
  4. Seems as though some on this thread are suggesting we will be selling some of our players in Jan to help balance books- Bentley, massengo from what I can see
  5. Something in the air with city at the moment which isn’t great- I really hope we can get the win and get to 30 points which will be another psychological milestone. If what many are saying is true it could be an interesting January.
  6. I know I saw this earlier, and some proper snitches on Twitter.
  7. Yeah big Nige has done wonders with all of that in his 10 months with us- but hey he is honest in his interviews so it’s all ok
  8. Really I agree with you about Leeds and the bielsa effect is annoying, but I can’t think of any axe to grind with Everton or Newcastle. I loved watching Keegans Newcastle and have had a soft spot for them ever since.
  9. I used to go to school with Andrew and also used to play in the same schoolboy sides as Him and his younger brother Tom who was also a good player. Got some stories to tell has Andrew. Joe attended as many school functions as he could from memory- really good family
  10. Christ I wish we were half as boring as they are!! They may be the 5th ranked team in London but they have a much higher ceiling to aim for than we will ever have.
  11. Moore is on a par with vyner- neither are regular championship quality defenders and both hopefully sooner rather than later will be gone.
  12. Indeed the o’dowda one is rubbish, and how tinpot are we that we still have to reference Bolasie in it… he left like 8 years ago couldn’t give two monkeys about what Bristol city think about him yet the singing section are obsessed with him….
  13. I can’t remember an aerial dual he lost today. He really shouldn’t be playing the amount of games he is at the moment at his age but I think he is still an important player to have at the club while we are bringing through a few of the younger players. His experience and professionalism will be key to their learning and at this level their are not many players who have been better. Pretty sure I read somewhere he is the 4th top goal scorer ever in championship football. I hope we can bring in a new striker in January of a similar ilk to Martin but realise that is probably clutching at straws.
  14. Scott and Kalas were the stand out performers for me today. Another difficult watch but we are scrapping to get to 50 points so take what we can. Also attacking the home fans in the first half is this now a psychological thing?
  15. Bloody hell bloke has cheese strings for hamstrings. However he is probably our best midfielder and that really isn’t saying much. We were also told by Pearson that Dave Rennie was our most important signing of the summer, we seem to have had again a number of injuries to key players. Let’s hope we have a few cards up our sleeves for the January window but feel it will be underwhelming.
  16. Medical emergency in Southampton game as well now
  17. Did you see the Latvian keepers goal kick in the last few minutes on social media ??
  18. FFS - al’s wicked whisper, this looks like it has been lifted from a 1983 Roy of the rovers or shoot annual, bar the 100m
  19. That was only entertaining because of the atmosphere created by the fans in carrying us home to a 1-0 scrappy but merited win….It is very different to being entertained by the quality of football on show which unfortunately under Pearson I have yet to see, he talks a lot and is very honest which fans seem to like, I would prefer his talking to be played out on the pitch. Given his experience both as a player and manager I would be expecting to see at the very least a level of effort, discipline and style of play by now…. He has been extremely disappointing.
