  1. Christ his language walking out of the dolman today and heading up North Street was colourful yesterday. Probably what I was thinking in my head in all fairness.
  2. I hear ya- felt the same as I walked out today, I used to feel very disappointed with it (I still do really) but I actually just laugh about it now. Mentally this set of players are very weak.
  3. Probably mate- can say what you want about our squad but basic organisation on how to defend corners can be taught and should be taught by the management team. Cannot see what value he is adding at all.
  4. Awful header from Cundy that led to the corner… then the corner well what can you say
  5. Yep it is listed so on the sky app
  6. Maynard was probably right about the Bristolian accent ??… funny video bonkers question!!
  7. My thoughts exactly- far too many I think looking at his experience and previous track record thinking he can replicate it here. His tenure thus far has been entirely underwhelming. Yesterdays man maybe!!
  8. Yep I agree but keep getting told to be patient and things are getting better…mentally weak, defensively awful Yep I agree but keep getting told to be patient and things are getting better…mentally weak, defensively awful
  9. Haha thankfully not, don’t think my heart could take the fact she was possibly seeing three of us at the same time.
  10. I know mate but I’m not a liar… he was their first, in actual fact he may still have been their when i was dating her… It got to the respectful point on nights out though when we both used to see eachother and give a little nod hello… she was a pain in the arse so probably an mutual appreciation of that
  11. Me and Noble dated the same bird- not at the same time obviously and he dated her first. Was around the time when Java was the place to go circa 2008 from memory. He was a good guy and him and Richard Keogh who also liked to be out on Saturday nights always seemed to have time for the fans asking for a chat etc!!
  12. Yeah it was Jackson and it was a hell of a strike
  13. Agreed- fantastic footballer and on his day the most talented player we have had in our championship years since we got promoted. Can remember one outstanding piece of skill can’t remember who against maybe Sheffield Wednesday. Right in front of the Dolman touch line, the ball was played to him from our fullback and with their left back running into press him, Tomlin flicked the ball over the onrushing players head with the outside of his foot and was away. Sublime to the ridiculous at times though as I also remember that atrocious penalty infront of the atyeo. Clearly very talented but also flawed.
  14. Did what he was asked to do well and made an important contribution. Well done
  15. Great performance my favourite match of the season so far. Defence threw themselves at everything and were disciplined for the most part. Kalas/Klose/Williams shower the experienced leadership we need consistently. Glad Bentley was back in goal and he made some crucial saves. Semenyo wow he is coming along superbly. For me someone who won’t probably get many plaudits was Chris Martin- his back to goal play today was excellent and he linked things nicely with the younger more energetic players. Really enjoying these home performances lately.
  16. Absolutely and man management like you say in any setting is much more nowadays than the old dinosaur manager hair dryer treatment. Players and employees in other settings now have a lot more protection and as such managers have less power than they would have had in the 80s/90s/00s. Shouting at a group or calling them out in public imo does not have a beneficial effect on team morale.
  17. Are they though? He appears to struggle to motivate them as a group, organise them defensively, so are they really going to be afraid of him…
  18. Not doubting your sources at all- but why would anyone have a bust up about covid vaccinations?
  19. But he gets picked for Ireland though??? Seriously outstayed his welcome by about 2.5 years now
  20. Just as an aside, but did anyone else hate the euros format last year where it was played in multiple different countries and host cities? Always loved the one host format who never had to qualify alongside the previous winners. Maybe I’m too much of a romantic but it annoyed me a bit- aside from the Azzuri winning it of course ?
  21. Yes sadly as someone who’s dad is half Irish I do take more than a passing interest In the Irish national team and their last squad was truly depressing, not withstanding COD it also included the likes of Daryl Horgan, Alan Browne, Will Keane, Josh Cullen and Jack Taylor- all decent pros but all championship standard at best. Being picked for Ireland while is still recognition in itself is not necessarily a barometer for the level of a player.
