Yep shadow of the player he looked in the last third of last season. -

I know our form and run of results particularly at home have been dreadful this season- but this commentator on sky is making it sound so much more depressing, can’t stop talking about how bad we have been every 5 mins -
For the record whatever happens tonight where do you stand?

A battling committed performance is the minimum requirement from me and what I fully expected but not seen week in week out from a Pearson team. A bad defeat where it looks like they have downed tools and I don’t see he has much time left. -
The player who made it the beautiful game for me- the pioneer for how it should be played. Had the pleasure of meeting him and he was good company.

Ex London Monarchs place kicker and won the world bowl as well. looks an experienced appointment

If Nige was gone and Euell was in temporary charge

In all fairness if Pearson fancies a new agent to try and get him his next job I would be turning to davefevs if I was him. In all fairness if Pearson fancies a new agent to try and get him his next job I would be turning to davefevs if I was him. -
Our midfield is very weak which is surprising given James was someone that I am pretty sure we all welcomed when he signed and he had just come off a very good season with Cov- Williams I remember many saying was the midfield general we have needed for years, too many injuries for him maybe and then Alex Scott who is one of the most talented prayers outside of the Prem. So Pearson is working with talented footballers but our midfield was very weak today and on the whole for most of the season- gaping holes today and at times it looked like a training match for west brom. This team does not look very well coached at all.

No his stock still relatively high and we are a sinking ship imo

I do agree - always did feel for Holden though that he had to manage us without the fans. -

Not seen any meltdowns for a while - just people fed up of the same abject, pedestrian sideways, check then backwards passing style. Weak midfield, players played out of position. I think a lot of fans sadly have just come to expect it most weeks, if someone can share what they think our identity or Desired style or play I is under Pearson then great…I can’t see one. -

We want Pearson out coming from s82 -
Good chance for him to show what he can do in the first team manager role again Just scrolled down and saw already listed mods please merge

So pleased for Messi- Maradona was my football hero growing up and I never thought their would be another like him, I think Messi can now be called the greatest player of all time.
-
He is doing a great job at Rovers- don’t think anyone could deny that.
-
It is also concerning that Pearson does appear to have a number of falling outs with players, and he is not shy at airing some of the dirty laundry in interviews. I am not sure this affects the dressing room positively- it seems an old school management technique that I don’t think works in a world of multi millionaire players.

How many managers resign these days? No way he goes without a pay off

I think we will have enough to stay in this division, but Pearson can’t get any kind of consistency out of this group of players. I miss those 8 league game winning runs -
I am sure Rotherham have been having sleepless nights about whether Kai Naismith will be playing or not.

I met him around 2006, got a handshake into a hug kind of embrace from him. Nice guy…. Sad news indeed.

Interested to know where everyone is watching this today- are the pubs busy?
-
Watched it and thought it was decent- was too young to be aware of a lot of the political back drop before the tournament so thought it provided some good context around that. As a child I loved the 80s- looks a bitch of a decade to live through if you were an adult though

Battered them is a bit of an exaggeration… we were the better side for sure but not sure we really created an extraordinary amount of chances.
