  1. You are probably right, FWIW I think the Pearson V Manning debate and point scoring will rumble on for the rest of the season, as we will undoubtably lose matches, maybe go on a 3-4 game losing run before we land where I think we will which will be anywhere between 8th-12th. You can then make an argument either way based on that when Pearson was sacked we were 11th and no one knows what could have happened when he got key players back from injury. I appreciated the work Nigel did In his time with us when he was left to front this club out whilst he was working with a board who appear to have never really supported him fully, which is frankly appalling. Did I really enjoy the football under Pearson- over the course of his tenure I would say slightly underwhelming so I hope the apparent more front football under Mannning continues and we can then see what happens when he has an opportunity to bring in his type of player in the summer.
  2. Go on Manno the management team and the boys, another big game in a few days but great Xmas so far
  3. It’s not just that it’s 15 shots away from home as well- 4-1 I am really enjoying Manning ball
  4. Indeed some of the posts have been very OTT- messages to the fan base, messages to Jon Lansdown etc. Hopefully we can keep building on last two results
  5. Anybody else still not had their wallet ticket updated to tonight’s game yet?
  6. Agreed second half was one way traffic- but got to say up to 35 mins that was our best first half at Ashton gate this season other than Plymouth Imo- we looked dangerous had several good efforts at goal, but what was most pleasing was the resolve to hold onto a fragile lead. well done Liam and team- 3 points against Hull and that will add some real balance to his start as manager
  7. Agreed, but I also always feel when he has space in front of him to carry us forward he is very hesitant, he is not short of pace so why not attack the space harder, get yourself further forward then maybe your pass option becomes one of our midfielders rather than vyner.
  8. Also feel Cam Pring on the left was as conservative as I have seen him in a long time, didn’t see too many overlapping runs or his forceful runs inside….seems to be playing below his best at the moment
  9. Yeah but Tanner did that because 95% of his passes are back to one of the centre backs- so frustrating to watch because I think he has the attributes to be a solid right back at this level
  10. Now that the dust has settled from Pearson’s exit, has anyone changed their mind from not going back to Ashton gate until the Lansdown’s have sold up? Cant make it as on hols but hoping for at least a draw and a credible performance.
  11. Oh this is interesting- far to busy to keep up with everything last few weeks, why did you get an enforced break Robbored?
  12. Absolutely this, Congratulations and good luck Liam- we move on.
  13. I may have got this wrong but wasn’t robinsforlife outed as a gas troll a couple of years back
  14. See what you are saying but whilst they have had a great start I don’t see them getting promoted. After some slow starts it looks like the bigger more experienced and better resourced clubs in league one such as Pompey, Bolton, Barnsley, Peterborough and derby are starting to rise to the top and can see 3 of those 5 going up this season. And to be honest as well as he is doing we are a much bigger job if he has serious ambition
  15. Fair shout you have put yourself on the line and don’t see why anyone would lie about this and you have gone into detail. let’s see
