I wish I could share your optimism, I am really fond of Arsenal, I guess you could say they are my second team- but I have a horrible feeling they will Lose next up at the Etihad and that could be a psychological blow early in the run in. Totally agree- bar a couple more wins the season is effectively over so keep the progress slow and steady and maybe if fit enough a couple of cameo appearances in the last few games before what I hope will be a full injury free pre season.

I may be alone in this but I really dislike the thought of Saturday 3pm games being shown live- this day and time has always been the heartbeat of the English game, where people gather pre match with friends and family to watch their team at the ground…..can only see the removal of the blackout as a sad thing

Pretty sure no more than ten days ago you were saying our season was effectively over after the cup loss- now a play off place is in our own hands which it most certainly is not by the way.

Fair enough but he had only been 3 days at the club, no real time to evaluate and get to know the players both professionally and as importantly personally. No more than a couple of training sessions as well. I think a month or maybe even more is when you start to get a feel for what a new manager brings.

I think for he/she’s own sanity they need a break from here anyway.

One question I have as someone who is fascinated with football during the 70s up to mid 80s is why have the BBC not made the match of the day archives available to purchase? It’s great to watch the BIg Match when it is on but so many games and goals I and other later have never seen will be on the bbc equivalent?
