We seemed like all our players barring Dickie was small against their players. Midfield the ball just seemed to be over the heads of our players.

Just had a thought, with these new ST are they going to be like concerts when you have to go through correct turnstiles? I’ve always used Winterstoke road entrance but sit in E33.

A mere 28 here in Portugal.
We arrived last Saturday at the tail end of the heatwave. I like the sun (my skin doesn’t it looks like I’ve a city home shirt on) but the first few days was uncomfortably hot.
I suspect you had that in Portugal as well.-

Southsea front in process of being done up. We are supplying the concrete for it and the colour they’ve gone for the workers call in baby sick.

FLW are suggesting Finn Azaz as a replacement for Scott.
What are other peoples view on him. I’m not going to lie, I know nothing about players below City players, and naive to other teams. And value what you lot tell me about players.

Apart from the Colston Hall gig, I saw him at the Milton Keynes Bowl ( @PHILINFRANCE was probably there too!!) and those are probably the two best I’ve seen.
Second best would be Leonard Cohen. No-one who hasn’t seen him believes that, but truly outstanding.
I saw Springsteen last week in Hyde Park. Wanted to see him as been on my bucket list for a while, not someone I would say I need that album. But I was blown away as to how good he was and will go down as my favourite gig I’ve been too.

Although weirdly I did actually see them at the Colston Hall in 1973 when they were support band for Mott the Hoople!
I was asked by friends if I wanted to go to Knebworth and I said no for some reason. My other regret was when I saw U2 on the Joshua tour in Wembley I wanted to see them again and used my Bowie ticket money to pay for them in Cardiff.

Fantastic game of tennis. Nice to see someone new win it. Until he won there was only three active players to have won Wimbledon, and one was injured and retiring this year.

Thinking about what Shags said £20 million plus add ons could be good for us. One good season, holding his own in the Prem, and he will probably be snapped up by a bigger team meaning we get funds next season as well.

Off to see Sting tomorrow. So been listening to the set list.
Forgot how good The Police were so really looking forward to it.
Then off to see Bruce Springsteen next weekend in Hyde park.

I’m trying for tickets next year. My cousin lives down the road and has told me that me the wife and granddaughter can have a room there next year. She normally has her friends staying but said she would let us have one.
The wife won’t do camping as her reasoning is if you can’t plug a hairdryer in she won’t be going. But the daughter and son in law went this year so she got even more jealous this year.
if successful it will be my first time since seeing Fun Boy three there in the eighties. -
I’m a bit behind. I’ve seen The Killers 11 or 12 times and Tiny Dancer one of my all times favourites, this is fantastic for me.
