I like TGH , I'd like to see the transfer confirmed sooner rather than later . As I said a few times , when he linked up with Knight at Cardiff (James was out) I though I'd seen our future .
That said I still think Manning is looking at the squad and seeing what he thinks is best. If I were to guess why TGH had been dropped , it would be just that a guess and until we are told the reasoning we won't know.
QPR 0-0 game , he had been here for a couple of days and even he said he would take the advice of people at the Club .
Middlesboro 3-2, starts, plays 90 & scores.
Southampton 0-1 , starts , plays 90 .
Norwich 1-2 , starts subbed 81 for JW . (Bell replaces Sykes for last 30)
Huddersfield 1-1 Sub on for JW 67 . ( Pring was sub came on for Sykes )
Blackburn 1-2 Sub on for JW 58 . ( Sykes off for Yeboah & Knight for Weimann 79 ins while well on top )
Sunderland 1-0 Starts plays 90 . ( Sykes off for Bell 82 )The QPR game I tend to ignore as he hadn't been here long enough . The odd subs and tweaks with the line up suggests he is trying to get an idea of each players assets , there is some rotation involved but as with some of the other subs it feels like he is learning about the squad.
I feel it will settle into a regular starting XI , just the odd one/two in and out for rotation . The one thing I'm surprised Manning hasn't tried is TGH as wide left MF. Now if he cuts in he has a good shot and it would release Mehmeti to play more central where I think he would be best , but what do I know.Well put.
One other note to add, is LM probably has been told how much he can spend and is looking at his other options pairing to see if he wants to spend a chunk on TGH before going for another position.
Me personally would be handing West Brom a check on 1st Jan, but if he’s got say 3 million for January and wants a forward, keeper etc 1.3 million leaves little left over.- 1

Because the relationship between Nige and the board was deteriorating, and Nige was unable to walk for the last 7 weeks of his employment with no prognosis.
Thats the bit I think JL alluded to when he said there’s things I don’t want to discuss.
I’ve had two back operations, but when they done mine, they were skeletal. I think it’s been mentioned that Nige’s is neurological which is a lot more difficult to find and sort out.

In other news does anyone else think Nahki is really great on the co commentary? Really insightful and confident to chat away. Would happily have him on more often (although even better if he's on the pitch ofc).
I’m enjoying listening to him.

In Wales that would be considered rather daring.
We get excited when we see a 30mph zone. The boy racers are blocking up the 3/4 mile stretch by my house in the 40mph zone.

I must thank those who've actually taken time to educate me rather than call me a moron. The title was "Please explain", you have, I thank you. I haven't seen enough of this lad, clearly.
Did you not see him against us last year? I thought he was really good in that game.

Actually think he’s had a steady start so far. Danger appears more on the opposite side.
I’ve always liked him, but want him to be more adventurous. Just hoped he would kick on further than he has done.

The style is high intensity, high energy, with a focus on attempting to win the ball back within a certain number of passes/seconds etc etc. The formation which the manager plays doesn’t matter - the principles of high intensity etc are the ones which are “in place throughout”.
Wasn’t that Pep’s way when at Barca that they wanted to win the ball back in quick time.

Ian Gay said on FBC that his “impeccable source” says the appointment is “someone the fans will get really excited about”.
That surely rules out Manning, and most of the bookies list?
He tweeted that he rates Manning though.

There's bound to be a few ITK posters on the Oxford forum!!!!
Looked at their forum and they seem nervous. But you would have expected to see one or two hinting its true and happening.

Bit I don’t understand is. If what Manning says last night no contact, then last night we would have had to negotiate a buy out figure for him, him to then agree to sign for us all before last nights rumours that an announcement was tomorrow.
Timing don’t seem right.
I know he may have been lying, but someone would have leaked it by now.- 1
