Sat 3 seats from the singing section and a large portion booed him while he retrieved the ball for a throw in. It happened 100%. It wasn’t long a drawn out or anything so perhaps you were focused on something else and didn’t register it.
Yep, this happened and was very noticeable when Joe went to collect the ball for a throw in. He looked devastated enough without some of our fans turning it into a walk of shame.

Just hurry up and sell the club Steve. Thanks for the shiny stadium and training ground, but it's time to just go back to Guernsey and run out the clock.

We've got to get Joe Low off the pitch. Poor lad is getting slaughtered

Jay Dasilva couldn't cross a road. He's a decent player at this level but don't we just see that shortcoming week after week

Took the best part of six years but we seem to have finally found a way for Callum O'Dowda to play well at Ashton Gate...

I immediately think of the Aesop Fable of the Frogs who wished for a King.
The short version being there were a group of frogs who wanted a King. So they prayed to Zeus and he sent them a wooden log and told them the wooden log was their King. The Frogs got angry with how passive and inactive the log was so sent back to Zeus and demanded a King who was more proactive.
So Zeus sent them a new King, who was a Water Snake, which proceeded to eat all the frogs.
In short, change isn't necessarily going to be for the better.

Funny thing is we are right in the middle of trying out a new idea and philosophy. Lansdown himself has said what he tried previously has not worked and this is his new approach. More power has been given to the manager, owners have let him get on with it and it’s a totally different look to the Ashton-Johnson days which we’ve only just transitioned from. We are beginning to find our feet structurally and thankfully we are still a championship club. I’m not sure things behind the scenes could be any better than they are. Apart from maybe the manager/ first team coaches, who IMO need the time we promised them, what would you change?
I understand this, although remember him also saying this in 2013 following the embarrassment that the years post 2010 were. I don't doubt his good intentions but the last few years have been eerily similar.
Johnson = Johnson Jr
Millen = Holden
Pearson = O'Driscoll?
His legacy should rightly be the massive infrastructure investments that he has made. There's many worse owners out there and I know that a new owner would be heaven or hell. Trouble is, I'm at the point of accepting that risk, because I'm absolutely sick of purgatory.

When is he getting sacked seriously people wanted this over LJ incredible
Goes way deeper than that, more to do with the culture of the club, which is solely at the door of Lansdown

Same shit, different season.

That's the worst succession of refereeing decisions I have EVER seen. Killed the atmosphere, turned the game for now at least
-
It's that old paradox again. Happy to see the back of this season but I also know I'm going to get bored without football

Anyone planning to rush to the game from the Hotwells/Clifton area; We The Curious is on fire, expect delays. Avoid the harbourside if you can; the smoke is nasty and hazardous there's also a lot of rubberneckers.
Anchor Road also currently closed off for cars and pedestrians

I grew up in Cornwall. Funnily enough, when you tell people down there that you've moved to Bristol, they'll say something along the lines of 'Oh that's good, not too far away then'. When I'm in Bristol and tell someone that I'm from Cornwall they'll remark that that's a bloody long way away!

Think you’re pretty wide of the mark with your Easton/St. Pauls vulnerable people analogy.
Both of these areas are gentrifying at a rate that is on a par with BS3.
The left behind areas are all on the fringes of the city, Google Imperial Appartments if you want to know where they are really being sent.
Once you get beyond the affluent parts of BS3, South Bristol is the default option here..
I've been to Imperial Apartments three times and unfortunately am all too aware of what it's like.
There's no doubt that the extremeties of our city also contain poverty, struggle and a history of neglect from those in charge. In the homelessness pathways, a significant proportion of properties are in Easton. I spend almost every working day there and personally love the feel and uniqueness of the community. Many of my clients have spent their whole lives there and need to be out of the inner city. There's no doubt that St Paul's is now avocado central nowadays. Easton is at the start of this journey; I can tell you right now that it's still not a place to house a high proportion of people with complex needs. I see this every weekday; it is the reality of the situation.
I will add that in the long term I expect that we will see a trend of this centre moving eastwards as gentrification takes hold.
Because of this, areas such as Bedminster, Knowle and Brislington work so well. Much less risk of bumping into someone from the past.
I have clients who are aspiring to move to Hartcliffe, El Dub and similar locations too. They aren't perfect areas, yet they offer the route into independent living and an opportunity for a fresh start. Of course there's going to be a drug scene there; this is Bristol we are on about! Yet my lads need to be away from the former 'friends' who would just love to bring them back to their old ways.
This has turned quite long and rambly but it is important for me to get the point out that dispersed accommodation is the long term future for housing vulnerable people. I've seen HomeChoice properties advertised in Spike Island, Hotwells and Clifton. How fantastic is that! This is what we need more of and Mr L would be in a great position to provide it.

If he wants to build a real legacy, I hope that he is leaning towards affordable housing and/or dispersed accommodation.
From the work I do I can confirm that there are many people stuck in the homelessness pathways who are more than capable for an independent life. We can't just move all the vulnerable people into St Paul's/Easton and then expect them to get on with it as this will set many up to fail.
Providing this sort of housing in BS3 would make a profound, long term difference. There's no shortage of yuppie flats here, we don't need more.

Because that would have been an absolutely cracking goal kick
