I can see the logic in that team selection, last thing we want is to play a defensive team and invite 90mins of pressure. Nobody expects us to get anything so why not go for it.
The way some folks are talking, you'd have thought we should be playing 9 defenders and 2 keepers.
I'm sure Norwich are decent, but we can't show them too much respect.
It's a free hit, in many ways; we're expected to get tanked, so why not come out swinging?
At least it isn't Derby away last year; we played an incredibly defensive side and got beaten up. Here, if we get done we've clearly given it a shot.

It has only taken 2 games for their star striker to decide he is tired of playing for them!
Possibly doesn't fancy playing his boyhood side, as ridiculous as that is.
The concept that you'd cry off your first home league game of the season due to tiredness is bizarre.
Injury of illness; understandable. But that just is odd.
Imagine he could have got wind of a Championship team sniffing about and wanted to make sure he was ready if they came in for him.

Agree, we have 6 points but are clearly miles off potential, which is fantastic. I think squad and LJ will improve together , and all have huge potential.
Actually quite pleased we have Newcastle at home so soon into the season, especially after the start they've had.
Got one less day to recover than we do, plus the travel, and even if we head into the match having lost to Nowich, there will be pressure on Newcastle.
If Korey is actually back for that game as him and LJ have both hinted it, then even better.

TBF it sounds like we've nicked it, and we've got a lot of work to do.
Just switching on the Norwich game to get a sense of them, but I do think Tuesday night will be a very, very, very hard match.
The fact we can lose that game and have 6 in the bag is nice; a point would be fantastic, and good to be able to think that!

44 more points to safety.
My thinking exactly.
Took us a fair few games to pick up this number of points last year; delighted to be 10% of the way to safety...

Can we extend Tammy's loan, I don't know, say 5 years??
Make it ten; just to be safe...
Absoultely buzzing.
Stuck in work on a pig of a shift till half time, but caught the second half, so that's my Saturday evening made.
These cans of haze I got in are getting tanned, I tell ee.

Only a matter of time now till they turn up on here claiming how this is proof they could handle championship football.

Either that or the 88th minute winner will be a worldie!
Wasn't the 88th min but you nailed it with worldie.

Cardiff with 10 men now
Because one of Rovers' players headbutted his elbow, thanks to missing a header by about five feet.

Pathetic game, pathetic support, please end it and say wtf we will be playing in the next round couldn't give a toss - lost interest now.
At this point I'd be happy for us to play Scunthorpe just to have this over.

Makes me grateful for Kodjia; this Cardiff side, even with subs on and for all their possession and neat passing, has no spontaneity - he might be a touch wasteful at times, but our Jimmy makes defences work like no one on display here.

Not sure but talking of such things they play Oxford on Sunday. Surely they`re not on telly again.
Think it is just delayed because of this game. Imagine Sky would find a reason to pull their coverage if they were after this yawn fest.

Wally got his mention and his mug on TV; that's his night/week made.

Didn't Roofe win Rovers' last televised game for Oxford with a wonder strike?

You get the feeling this game is so dire, if it went to pens, both sides would miss every single one.

Sounds like a game performance in one of the toughest games of the season on paper.
Hopefully this will breed a bit of togetherness and, coupled with a bit more time in training, help us get something from our next couple.
