Nahki Wells **** off.

You wouldn’t think we are behind.
No urgency anywhere on the pitch to get back into this game.

Baker down injured
I reckon in the last 3 years I’ve seen this post about 48 times.

Bakinson looks somewhat lost currently.
I don’t rate him, sorry. Never have done.
That’s not an overreaction either, he’s just so frustrating to watch. You just want to grab him and shake him.
The guy is away with the fairies.

I’ll say it again…
We’re so dead to watch. The only time we looked ever close to scoring was a Tomas Kalas throwing. And even then he can barely reach the box…
We just need some life about us.
-
We really need some pace out there. We’re so dead to watch!

What a soft goal that is.

I really don’t like this ref.

Let’s be honest. It was pretty quiet for most of the game and then got loud in the last 10-15 minutes.
Might help if “oooh Bristol City” isn’t sang by 50 people for about 20 minutes.
That simply isn’t a song that ‘goes round the ground’ as it were. And it absolutely definitely shouldn’t be the first song sang after a goal, like it was last night.
A goal should be followed by the traditional ‘la la la la la la la City’. Then maybe a ‘we love you city, we do’. The go-to song immediately after a goal absolutely shouldn’t be that bloody ‘oooh Bristol City, la la la la oooh’. That simply won’t travel round the ground.
A few more ‘cmon you reds’ ‘red army’ ‘Ole ole ole’ ‘clap clap, clap clap clap, City’ would be much better at getting all of the ground joining in.In fairness that chant was going around nicely! Loud and clear.
I agree about the timings of songs and mixing it up though.

Just listening briefly to Nige’s pre Sheff Utd interview….
Joe Williams has got a bit of damage(Nige’s words). Different type of injury to previous, not sure how long it will take.
James and King in contention soon. Looks like the midfield that ended on Wednesday might well start on Sunday!

The only bit of a scran I have from AG is the Jamaican goat curry.
Just a shame about the price.

It was as blatant a pen as you’ll see. If that was against us, I’d be livid.
I thought they were both at it in fairness. Right call to leave it on both accounts imo.

The key is to develop the club quickly enough to match their ambitions. It cost us Kelly, Brownhill, Reid, Bryan to a large extent. Of course, when PL come calling it’s virtually impossible to turn it down. But I think had we got play offs in one of those seasons we maybe keep one of them?
Central midfield somewhere. He could play alongside Williams at some point, no probs at all.
I thought his (Scott) defending was bloody excellent last night. He’s sharp, can get tight and uses body pretty well.
Bottom paragraph of this post… 100%!
Only one moment where the Stoke player kicked it through his legs to whip a ball, Fletcher hits the bar. But I thought he was excellent defensively overall.
I was pleasantly surprised.

The 2nd long throw over in the Dolman A block, Kalas had his foot virtually in the 18 yard box!

The Ashton Gate faithful do love playing the underdogs. Happy days!

I thought we bullied Stoke tonight in parts. Beautiful stuff!

Bakinson on sky. Benarous for me
I swear on sky they always give MOTM to the goal scorer.
Boring.

Played well again. Needs to keep this up

Great atmosphere at the end, the fans pushing us to victory.
Special mention to Scott and Benerous tonight, they showed their maturity beyond their years. Battled for everything, kept the ball, won fouls etc.
Brilliant!

Can we bin One for the Bristol City?

We’re so uninspiring to watch.

Let's see if he can string together a run of error-free games which doesn't cost us a goal then. He's got a long way to go to convince me he's good enough for this level.
Sadly this is where I am with Zak.
He’s okay in parts but there always seems to be a howler around the corner with him. He’s a determined lad but he really needs to kick on now….
