Preston North End home match thread
Betty Swallocks replied to Jerseybean's topic in The Havanatopia Match Day Archive
We don't employ stewards though do we, thought we used an agency to bring in stewards with a different number needed from game to game. -
Storm Tony it is then.

Yeah of course there would be extra cost but given there is still over 24 hours before the game, they would sell more than enough to cover the costs and make more money on top. -

Seems ridiculous that we don't make any provision for splitting the Atyeo Stand when teams are expected to bring less that 1500.- 655 replies

I'd say anyone who wasn't born within the distance where a ball would end up after a Junior Bent wayward shot when through on goal, shouldn't be included as one of our own, So anyone from around the Nailsea are up to Bradley Stoke are fine.

It's a no from me.

Yes, my child’s supporter ID is set up with one of my alternative email addresses.

I would love us to win something but equally, I want us to be run sustainably as well. Maybe it's because I have friends who watch Premier League football, they tell me being in the Premier League isn't always a great crack as a supporter and aside from the occasional trip abroad, it can be a ball ache having to take time off throughout the season for Sunday or Monday games. Yes it would be nice to get there but I wouldn't want to risk it all to get there. -
Well we’d had better make sure JL doesn’t have any trips to China booked up.

Yes that perfectly describes a selling club. Name one club worth their salt (minus Real Madrid) who aren’t a selling club?Even the likes of Man United will sell players if another club hits their valuation of a player. -

100% pure waffle isn’t it. We’re only a few years into this new cycle of either producing our own players or recruiting younger players and helping them develop. We as fans have got to trust the process, one player leaves (for decent money….) and along comes an opportunity for someone else. -
You’re not paying hundreds of pounds for a piece of plastic though are you, you’re paying hundreds of pounds to watch 23 home games. I don’t see what emotional attachment you can have to something that surely gets binned at the end of the season?

Few queries about the ‘My Rewards’ scheme
Betty Swallocks replied to Bristol Rob's topic in Football Chat
Rovers season tickets, they’d only get their money back if the club were able to sell their ticket on. They weren’t doing it to be kind, it was done to make money given their reduced capacity. -
Yeah that should work. I know they have said match tickets for the first 4 games will be print at home tickets so you might just get one of them. Probably best to get it sorted soon though and give some time to work it out.

Your nephew will need to have a supporter ID number but you should be able to add multiple tickets to your wallet.
-
On the face of it, that seems really straightforward.

Hopefully this transfer will teach some people that you should always treat what is said in public with a huge pinch of salt. Transfers dealings these days are highly complex and one slip up in public could potentially cost £m’s. -

It’s all part of negotiating. Pearson will have been in the loop and will know what the club were willing to accept. -

There’s going to be a couple of very disappointed people sitting at the table. -
