Ok the win on sat is so important, even a draw as we know aint worth a wank
But I can't see now anyway Johnson is going, even a 1/0 loss to Rotherham.
So as much as I or anybody thinks Johnson has run his coarse it's not going to happen.
Landsdown is going to stick by his man, so we now have to look at the posatives (excuse my spelling)
If we can turn Rotherham over sat it's possible with renewed confidence that points are possible from this horrific looking run of away games.
Anyway were going to have to make a choice back the side to the hilt or give up the ghost.
Because whatever wed think of his crazey formations or selections he's going to be here to the bitter end.
So that's it if you believe the same as me what different choice as fans do we have?

I'm fortunate in that I seem to have taught myself to not care too much.
Sad, but true.
Losing used to ruin the weekend, but not any longer.
I wish I had taught myself that 50 years ago!!
maybe time to give it a go. Not to late is it?

I just hope he doesn't use the bad luck, we played well card in his radio interview again.
Would be to much to bare. this has to be the time to come out and say yeah not good enough.

Yes I believe with 25 games of the season remaining we can still finish in the top 10.
Yeh ok but with 25 games left Rotherham could finish in the top 10.
Don't for one minute think that will happen what have you seen in the last 2 months makes you think we will?

Some of the faithful never had 'faith' in LJ to begin with....
When I say faithful I mean no matter who the manager (coach or whatever title now) is just to our club.
Which brings up a new question.
Should the worst happen, were relegated how many faithful would we have left?
Would imagine we would lose at least 1/3rd of season tickets maybe more. The gate would look a sad place now with 10,000 rattling around.
Witch has got to tell Johnson, Lansdown Ashton. come on!!!
I know Spudski and the like on here advocate the long game but in any level of football you seem to be going backwards or forwards, dosen't seem to much time for standing still.
Lets hope all our planning for the long game don't bite our ass in the short term. urrrreeedddssss.

Utterly ridiculous to label it "madness". Top 10 is an entirely reasonable aspiration for this squad and still more than achievable.
All the usual reactionary nonsense on here tonight.
Do you really believe that?
Don't want to say iv supported for bla, bla, bla. but it's hard for me to see where the next win's coming from let alone top 10 finnish!!
Hopefully a win sat against Preston but would another 0/1 surprise you?
Anyway false dawns and all that lets hope this one is just a dawn!!!

Back now to usual otib divide. Realists v Blind Optimists
So that's the only options? Don't think i'm in one of those camps.
Certainly not a happy clapper, things not going well Lee always talks a good game but a defeat sat against Preston puts us under real pressure.
I don't think for one minute that he's under pressure as far as his job goes.
But a win is so needed the early season hope is well and truly gone.
The faithful are truly starting to loose faith.
Maybe the next signing shouldn't be he's young has a good personality , maybe it should be sign the guy if he gets three shots at goal and gets one on target !!

I'll come back on this again - you say being a work in progress is "an excuse for a team that lacks quality" - I agree with that, and it's valid excuse. We do lack quality, and that's because you can't transform a League One side into a Championship promotion-chasing side overnight. Compare the side we have now to the one that went up a couple of years ago, and man-for-man its superior. But it still doesn't have the quality to compete at the top end of the division. So we're somewhere between the two, hence why I use the term "work in progress". If that makes me a happy clapper then so be it.
Ok quite a few teams have come from league 1 to be promotion chasing team (us being one) And one or two have gone straight through the divisions.
I don't think you can come out with this judgement about our progress until the seasons ended.
I for one was excited with all our young signings and that performance from Hudds today was what I hoping the likes of Brownhill,O'Dowda,Paterson could produce down the gate.
At the time we look a million miles away. my worry is we always seem to have all these players for tomorrow and as we know it never seems to come!!!
Hope your optimism wins!!!!!!!
