It's was not a clear obvious mistake for the penalty not to be given . So VAR would not have intervened after checking it . sometimes those given sometimes not . It was a close call not blatant penalty. maybe bring used to having VAR in the premier those in doubt not given by ref. at time as ref knows VAR will check . But no VAR last nite so no penalty

The penalty would have been soft. He looked to go down on contact rather than get a shot off. Bell was totally taken out edge of box always a foul yellow card. Watched last nite with great pride for all the reasons stated all over this forum. And yes we all know Scott has been on premier league teams interest for a while now. But last nite was a big shop window for the team as an entirety. And Pring, Tanner, Kalas must have got well noticed. Know about kalas needs to accept less or will be sold. But what situ with contract lengths on Pring and Tanner. Cause not be surprised if good offers come our way in the summer for them. I do think the pitch looks it's worst for many a year. The demands of rugby and two England lady's game has not helped at all . But all that slipping past few games does not look good. When I played, local village team. I used short studs beginning and end of season and long rugby studs through the worst weathers in winter. And I did often play on ploughed fields, or so it seemed

Yes although I felt Hull were largely ineffective in attack. They had couple of quick breaks and had some pace going forward. I felt they looked like they had a goal in them. And was eager that we got 2 up. But again we defended well as a unit.

Yes did I not hear that we have no VAR option at present at the gate but if/when we beat Man city and if We get a home tie next round VAR will have to be installed. Now you either have VAR for all games or none surely

Really enjoyed yesterday. Hull made themselves hard to break down and did not make it easy for us. Mind I had expected Hull to show more as they only really became a threat after we scored. James and Williams top jobs in midfield although we still missing forward passes form Neismith. Mehmeti lovely to watch, does need to press the shot option more when running into box and still finding his feet a bit with new team. Bell or Wells to start is interested, they give different options on the field and I think it is as NP sees it on the day with who we are playing knowing he has the other on the bench. Loving Kalas/Vyner at back looking so solid. Full backs both great. Looking forward to seeing how we set up defend against Harland. Loved the playing the game out. We looked so streetwise.
