Moyes managed PNE for four years, getting promotion before he went to Everton.
Of course he did sorry.....

I would love Moyes or Di Matteo, I don't have an issue with Pearson, I wouldn't want to go for a pint with him but that's neither here nor there. I think the win ratio is a little misleading, Moyes has never managed outside the Premier league and I would say on that basis his win ratio supersedes almost all the others. I really don't want a short term person whether it is Warnock or anyone else.

WAIT. I have spotted a loophole! According to the fixture list on the main site this game doesn't exist, we are all clearly suffering from mass hysteria and imagining it. Having said that, it also says we are playing "Albion" next week, which seems to indicate we have fallen so far through the league structure we are now playing in Scotland!!

Taken off a few times with knocks. Cardiff away I think too.
I always feel there is little you can do that stops knocks when you are the type of player who throws himself into tackles wholeheartedly like he does.

If Baker came here on loan partly to prove his fitness it's not working.
he missed a game for a sending off didn't he? Anyway, when Moore came on in that game he did very well I thought...

Good news for the Gas is that they must have plenty of money after all!
I am surmising this from the recent quote from their Manager in which he said that "Selling any of our players in January would be brainless and I wont sanction any sales." Clearly they don't need to sell players because they are so flush with money, this puts them in a very rare bracket, along with the top teams in the Premier league and maybe a select few in Spain and Germany. No wonder their fans think they are such a big club!

Have to admit the windass thing is a bit of a disaster PR wise- not that it would matter I hear you say. But a line has to be drawn by the p"""k above - Bristol City have never, ever 'terrorised or took over' the old Tote End - Millwall, Chelsea couldn't and your lot never ever got near.....
Well that is a downright lie, My father was one of the old school who would go to Eastville if they had a game against someone he wanted to see and the year Chelsea were relegated we went to see the game. I was 13 and we went in the Tote End down near the front and so had a perfect view as about 5 minutes before kick off the Rovers fans were chased out by the Chelsea mob and the stewards shut the gates behind them to stop the trouble spilling over.
The first 20 minutes of the game the Chelsea fans were singing songs and waving to their mates in the away end, eventually the police came along, and with little fuss or bother, walked the Chelsea fans around the edge of the pitch back to the away end. They then reopened the gates and let the rather sheepish looking Tote Enders back in.
I can't say that either the City or Millwall fans had similar successes as I have only heard stories, but I would swear to that incident on a stack of bibles if I was a religious man, that's exactly how it happened.

Dale Vince reckons Forest Green can attract fans from North Bristol in the long run. Probably right, to be fair!
£5.4 million in debt? A non-league club! I don't know how that is sustainable, I know their owner has some cash but I don't imagine he is in the SL category.....

Having seen Coombsy's post I really wanted the Gas to lose even more than usual. Shame that :(, I am sure the Gashead will be back on twitter boasting of their defeat of the mighty Wycombe.

Foreign investors so I've heard...
We are all happy to accept your statements on this KITR and I am not doubting what you have been told, but I am honestly amazed at this, which foreign investors would be prepared to clear the debts of a team languishing in league 2. I don't see the potential there, even if they got everything right and everything was already in place, it would take them at least 3 years to get to the promised land and earn some decent money. If they are being sold a pup by Higgs, surely when they do their due diligence they would discover that. Maybe, and it's a big maybe, if they had Bristol to themselves or we were the poor neighbours there would be more potential, but that is not the situation and is unlikely ever to be so.
I can't even see an asset stripping option, I can't imagine they could make enough money out of selling the ground, to make it worthwhile for the amount they would have to pay Higgs and co to shift out of the way. I could only really see a group of dedicated Gasheads with a bit of cash ever investing.

From.FBNick Higgs on the Stadium at last night's Supporters Club AGM: The hearing at the Court of Appeal is about holding Sainsbury's to the original terms of the contract, £30.05 million. It is not about compensation although he did add the club will be seeking an extra £5 million to compensate them for delays, rising costs etc. The hearing will be heard by a panel of three judges who will listen to the solicitors arguments. If we win Sainsbury's do technically have the right to appeal to the Supreme Court or the European Court of Human Rights but they are not certain to get a hearing and probably wouldn't go that far because of the negative PR. Interestingly he added that there around 20-30 other organisations who are suffering from a Sainsbury's change of mind who are waiting to see how our appeal goes before commencing their own action against them.

Some of the same fans who criticised Swindon for celebrating winning the title in November 2014 are apparently equally eager to call it over and the team relegated this November

Hoped we were going to start pushing on today to midtable. Truth looks like we are in a dog eat dog battle with really three from six going down. Hope we have the fight for it.
I am pretty sure the players have, i am not so sure about the fans though

And Barnsley at home to the Blades... is Little Lee still in charge? Apart from that one win a couple games ago they have been on a really shocking run. I see Oldham not doing any better.. is their a legacy issue here ? Surely he cannot last much longer.
Barnsley equalised in the 94th minute, they gave it a real go in the last 20 minutes.

Listened to the last 20 minutes whilst in the car. Judging by the level of bias and downright slating of officials from the commentator, it seems that anyone setting foot in that ground becomes possessed by the blue fog of entitlement.

Didn't listen to Radio Bristol, but I assume there were a couple of them looking towards the play offs after this massive win?
