One to go.

8 down now. Great catch from Pope apparently.

It's early days but really impressed by England's approach. They've put their money where their mouth is. Even if they end up losing this test, they should be commended. This is the kind of attitude that will keep test cricket alive.

I think England will do alright at the World Cup either way. You've a pretty handy draw up to the semi finals. If they make a change now, would Borthwick be the most logical candidate?

And to think Livingston / Stokes haven’t even strolled out yet
Imagine if Root had stayed in as well!

Brook just hit Shakeel for six fours in one over.

Proper mad bastard stuff, this. Road or no.

Fastest 200 opening stand in test history.

Great Bristol try here for anyone who missed it:

I don't think the second last try was grounded but Raynal has his own criteria.

Great test match. Nothing for anyone to fear from either of those sides.
-
Really good defensive set from Bristol at the end of the half.

I think whoever is providing the replays to the TMO must be pissed. That was a joke.

Scrappy start. What are the conditions like at home? Look decent enough on TV.

Oh just seen- Semenyo!!
Switzerland usually quite a decent side too, looked a fairly strong XI.
Definitely a strong side out. I think there'll be a couple of changes for the first group match but that was no B team.

As someone who very loosely follows rugby, how close to first choice are the two sides?
Of course it's not the Boks' first choice guys, but 12 capped Springboks. Big challenge for Bristol.

Scotland may never get a better chance to beat NZ than today.

Great game now between France and the Boks.

Frisch taking three Boks out of the game just before Munster's first try:

Munster beat SA 28-14 tonight. Front liners or not, for a team of kids and lads not in the Ireland squad to beat a team with 14 capped Springboks is special. Great night.
First real look at Frisch this season too. He looks the real deal. Have a feeling he'll be capped for Ireland before too long.

So i am visiting Bristol in december of this year, and hoping to catch the game against West Brom, and searching for some Bristol Fans who i could tag along (if that is possible) as i am visiting alone.
I am from switzerland and a big Fc Basel fan, always standing in the home fan curve singing etc.
Dont know which sector i should buy a ticket, but of course i am supporting Bristol City.

So the replacement fixture for Worcester is a friendly against Cardiff. Pretty cheesed off tbh. I never watch friendlies in any sport I follow - just not interested at all. And taking place during autumn international phase will demean the quality even further. Appreciate what Bris are trying to do and that they are in a spot but it isn’t good enough imho.
Cardiff are a good side, even without their internationals. If the fringe players on both sides treat it as an opportunity to stake a claim, you could have a very interesting match there.
I always liked the Pro14 matches during the international windows. Good chance to see what was coming down the line.

Thanks guys. A famous win. I know the ICC didn't want us in the tournament but we've proved our value again.
-
Brilliant Ireland.
Screw the ICC. Let's grow the game by having a ludicrously convoluted pre-tournament to exclude the smaller nations. Reaping the whirlwind now.
