  1. Bit of a hiatus Yes. Well he could be Pompey or West Ham but think the ship has sailed on the later ? Boy is only 3, don't think the has the patience yet to watch a game. Feel guilty dumping him on the inlaws every other Saturday. I'm doing 1K a year on 3 STs looking to spend that on memories with him whilst he's still young. Agreed never dull ? 13 years isnt a christmas and afar is 5 miles away then sure ill be following ?? your one of my favorite posters on here BTW, you know your stuff. How could if forgot about snake ? one of my favorite players watching City. Had a chat with him once in Wagamamas in Cabot, lovely guy. Hes only 3 we'll be back, might be family stand for a bit until he gets his first stoney, then is back to the east end. Sadly back on the fags ... Cheers for bringing that up dave mate. For context a pal of mine, Wolves fan had some tickets through his work. Morbid curiosity got the better of me. They lost, ******* peasants. I'm seeing you this evening arnt I, for our sins. You can buy me a gold for that slander. It didn't not gunna lie. My FIL looks at me with suspicion. We obviously know each other but don't recognise the username - hi mate ? Unlucky the shit ? what an absolute cabbage that bloke was, second the the ***** that headbutted the window of a minibus, third to the now toothless cretin that tried to fight me at the JPT Derby. Wally. Yes it was, unreal spot that!!! Was in that honking pub near the ground, stank in there. Only place we could go nearby to get a cider. Villa is a shithole.
  2. Today I got the badge in for the final time after 13 seasons as a ST holder at Bristol City. 1 Promotion as Champions, 1 humiliating relegation, 1 Wembley trophy win, 1 Bristol Derby win and punch up of all punch ups, an 8-2 win, a 5-5 draw, a 0-6 home defeat, East End/Williams/Atyeo/S82, 31 away teams visited, 9 managers, 1 stupid question, Tammy Abraham>Loïs Diony, the legend that is Aaron ******* Wilbraham, the God that is Stephen Cotterill, Calamity James, 13 flag days, a special trip to the Etihad to sing a song for Bobby Reid, Aden Flint's Party, the Rovers running away (again), 1 destroyed Cardiff pub, the away toilets at Swindon, Forza Eastend, JET's penalties, beating Mourinho's Manchester United in the 94th minute, in by Taylor.. ITS SMIIIIIITH. Over 350 games, 2500+ pints of cider and a GAP that has NEVER been bridged. Thank you to the beautiful lady who took me to my first game (FA cup replay against Cardiff in the snow) who is now my wife and mother of Junior F(red) and of course all the cider heads I've met along the way. Looking forward to now spending my Saturdays with my son. One Team in Bristol. ?️️?
  3. Thats bollocks David ... It was Heaven is a Place on Earth by Belinda Carlisle Do remember you getting motorboated by some old soak however
  4. I like a "proper" pub but all of those were shitholes. The most tragic bemmy pub was the Princess of Wales ?
  5. Agreed all parties are complicit. I hope we look back on Man City like we do Ben Johnson and Lance Armstrong
  6. I wouldn't say it's bitterness, it's more anger that the sports washing of a state sponsored club continues in this day and age, and pay2win is still a thing. Why are people not more angry about what these clubs are doing?
  7. Everyone banging on about how we lost to "the best team in the world", a club who are alleged to have broken over a hundred incidents of FF ... they pay to win, and win they do. Mad how teams accept them as opponents and virtually suck them off as some kind of football messiahs when they look like to me like the tory party of the football world. The damage this club has done to the heritage of English Football may be irreparable. I ******* hate everything about them. If anyone has anything positive to say about Manchester City Football Club then I'd love to hear it.
  8. NgL having an up to date replica kit to wear on holiday does feel like a a very privileged problem to have in the current climate. Sorry to rant I think this whole thing is really anti-consumer and borderline exploitative, really pissed me off. If city didn't procure enough first team kit for the whole season then that's just flat out incompetent, I genuinely do not believe they do not have enough kit for each first team player to make it to the end of the season. I'm going to bed  ?
  9. I'm generally pretty positive I just think there should be some consumer protection for stuff like this. If Man U changed their kit half way through a season it would be on the news and newspapers would be filled with parents in full compo-face mode. Football kits are really expensive for a lot of people and for them to be changed with little, to no warning, is pretty shitty IMO. Especially when a lot of the time these items are bought for children. If city sold any hummell replica kit on wednesday during the England game for example, knowing a new kit was coming a few day later, that would be bang out of order and I hope they didn't.
  10. Think when you buy a 50quid kit for your kid you expect it to last more than a few months before being binned for a new one.
  11. Bit annoying the replica kit I bought my son for this season is already obsolete in February.
  12. Haven't watched a game at the Gate on tele on a long while so disappointed to see the camera work is still honking. Got to sort that out.
  13. His highlight vids remind me of Anthony Knockhaert who played for Pearson at Leicester. Anyone else see that comp or have I just made that up?
  14. Surely that is already the correct code and the lock should open? ?
  15. Must be weird for Antoine going from a championship team to a Premier League club, whose entire stadium you could fit into the Lansdown stand. Can't feel like much of an upgrade apart from the coin.
  16. Dead ball delivery today was shocking. Overall a hard worked point.
  17. He does have something of a point, my wife and I have been ST holders for 13 years and we havnt been for 2 months so empty seats don't create an atmosphere. But look inwardly Nigel and ownership, the football is shit, the match day experience is shit, we don't go to watch Bristol city much because there are much better things to do with our time and money.
  18. Agree on that mate I think another player should have taken the second. Too much psychology on the second, that miserable woman Eni Aluko made the very point and its spot on. But in that exact moment I wouldn't have picked anyone else on earth. Hard luck Harry, you're a good bloke - this wont hang over him like it did southgate/pearce/waddle/beckham/batty/lampard/vassell **** when you write it down, we are so shit at penos ?
