  1. You dodged a bullet with Robinson, most over-rated manager around, shame he didn’t get the job
  2. If it's such a benefit then why don't every team agree to change to Friday night (like Swansea have done)
  3. Seems strange to me, no other team are moving their games just for the extra day off (bar Swansea)
  4. Lots of kids and dads will be at the kids football on Sunday morning/afternoon
  5. Did we play up there on a Friday earlier in the season?
  6. Didn't know that, for Sky purposes ? Our game was changed back in July
  7. Apparently my gran always used to ask my dad "How did South End get on today" and that was thirty years after they moved to AG, she was born in 1878 !!!!
  8. Last time i looked we are the only team in the FL that have moved their game from Saturday to Friday night, i would also imagine that a lot of people would of finished work early for xmas and the last place they are likely to be is at AG on a Friday night to watch Hull City !!!
  9. So later on this month on Friday night 22nd will you be at AG for our game against Hull or will you be travelling up to Newcastle to watch Bristol play Newcastle Falcons? both kick off at 19:45
  10. You're right so far regarding this season, usually the Welsh games get changed, Norwich on Sunday, why they've moved Hull to a Friday night in a couple of weeks time is beyond me as there is no egg-chasing on Saturday.
  11. I'm another one that can't make it as i don't finish work till 2 (would be the same if it was a 1.30 Saturday KO) honestly don't know why i bother with a season ticket as i've missed so many games over the last few years due to 15:00 KO times being changed
  12. Not only the pies, the pasties are lovely as well
  13. I”m afraid things never change, either too much coke or too much alcohol, any club that takes 3000 to an away game are going to have a small percentage of numbskulls amongst them
  14. Manning’s doing well considering the squad and injuries he’s inherited
  15. He got what he deserved but 99.9% of the time a foul would of been given
  16. We're been quite used to that brand of football for many years now, hopefully Manning gets time to stamp his style
  17. All that interests me is our performance/result but i do think it's great that we can attract so many different supporters due to the "AG experience"
  18. What was uninspired and totally pointless was our keeper constantly launching it down the pitch and giving up possession, what was the point in that? I agree that to an extent you have got to have players that can "play" if you are going to go with possession football otherwise it can be risky, i remember Jaap Stam when he was Reading manager trying to play that way at AG and they were totally hopeless at it
  19. I enjoyed it, i'd much rather our keeper try to play it out than kick the ball 80 yards down the pitch to our 5"10" striker who's being marked by a 6"4" centre half or more often than not just kick it straight out of play
  20. If that was Grealish he would of rolled around the floor 10 times to ensure the guy was sent off (as would a huge majority of prem' players) the Wolves guy was far too honest
  21. I notice Swindon had 8,300 for their home game on Saturday, 1,200 more than Rovers pulled in against Stevenage, they need a bigger ground mind !!

His future was bleak while NP was here, in his few cameo appearances he looked like a rabbit in the headlights, there is definitely a very good player there who can frighten defences to death, let's hope Manning can get the best out of him
  23. Night away games against Northern teams bring our average down massively
