Would have rather had some unknown foreign bloke to be frank, but at least it's not rowett..
-
Seeing the names being suggested just makes me even more angry. This club needed, and still needs a firm, steady hand at the helm. None of these names come anywhere near Nige in this department.

This a low point in the time I've been following city, what a joke of a decision. If it's rowett then it makes it even worse

Pretty sure recently we have played at least one 15 year old in the 21s, those who watch those games or are “in the know” can supply more details.
Elijah Morrison might possibly be the kiddie?
Obvious thing to say but this lad has a lot of his life ahead yet, could pick up an injury or have other issues to deal with, but obvious that he’s incredibly highly rated to be playing for a club like this at such a very young age.
I'm fairly sure Yeboah was just 15 when he started getting into the u23 squad a couple of seasons ago

Big blow to not have Zak

I still feel like we missed a trick with him, he clearly had a lot of talent when he first arrived. Perhaps had the best elements of his game coached out of him like a lot of players we get here

Does anyone know why this isn't on the sky red button? Is it because the fixture was initially meant to be a Saturday?

Best news all week!

It's a precarious position our club is in when we start talking about life after SL. Yes, we've not gone on to gain promotion to the premier League under his ownership, but we have had, for the most part, financial stability.
I for one am fairly nervous about the prospect of new owners coming in, the rise and fall of certain clubs in recent years due to poor ownership has been alarming.

I think NP has been in the game long enough to realistically expect that we would lose Scott this summer.

I can't believe he's still in the job with all the things that have happened over the last few seasons.

And I don’t mean that I’ve seen something on social media.
We'll hopefully it gets sorted sooner rather than later then

Fantastic to see, I remember watching an u23s game on my lunch break the season before last and he was playing, just 15 at the time. Clearly well ahead of his age bracket. Hopefully he can push on and break into the first team

Laughable comments on their forum. We are messing them about so they should tell us to do one
Here’s an idea, pay the asking price or just **** off.
Right? It's not like we haven't always stated 25m minimum for months now? They're wasting their own time if anything

I think it's going to go down to either wolves or west ham

A four year deal. I believe this is the first four year deal since NP came in. Another sign of the turn in the financial tide?

We may keep our best player, and unbelievably some on here sound disappointed. I want to see Scott in a City shirt next season, and enjoy the football.
I would rather keep him than not. The only issue is, we get to next summer and he hasn't signed a new deal, teams could be willing to wait another year and he'll go for free.

Benarous with the highest score on the fitness test yesterday - if he can stay fit and play like the glimpses we seen, a midfield of James/Naismith, Scott and Benarous would be very nice in my eyes!
Is it just me, or is Ayman not in any of the videos from the Austria trip? Hopefully it's just a case of his training program, and not another set back

You don't get them like you used to, back in the day it was common for players to last a whole year, or even two at a football club.

Unless your son lives in LA, take him to a few games. Best dad lad bonding exercise there is. Win or lose.
Couldn't agree more. I've been going with my dad since I was about 6/7, the amount of joy we share when we get a goal is like no other. I'm going to try and keep going with him for as long as he can still make it down the gate, memories are made every match we share.

Think I spot Jed Meerholz, Marlee Francois, Seb Palmer-Holden, Ephraim Yeboah, Joe Duncan, Mac Boyd, Raphael Araoye, Harry Leeson and Callum Wood as the youngsters going to Austria. Any I've missed or got wrong?
I don't think I'm familiar with Meerholz or Duncan, can you shed any light? Yeboah is the very young forward iirc?
