  1. Won a £150 Pasture in the work charity raffle today! That’s a night out sorted!
  2. Rib of Beef for us too (from Gatcombe Farm in LA) so naturally Yorkshires will be along side it on the menu as well as all the usual trimmings. Boxing Day Bubble & Squeak is also a big tradition in our house.
  3. I’ve been there as well as Watersky (I think) over by ikea. Both very much Chinese restaurants that you’ll see packed with Chinese people; as you say a great sign.
  4. Poor old Joseph won’t be happy! Good on her
  5. Hopefully that doesn’t dilute the magic of the original.
  6. Rubbish first half. So many of the boys not on top of their game here today.
  7. Yup. Next year’s word will be Bayleaf.
  8. Crikey. They must be delighted by the post-sacking decisions then . . .
  9. About 17k i think they said. And yes @Northern Red Luatua makes a huge difference. It’s obviously not a one man team but when he’s playing it just seems that everyone is better because he is such a leader. He really is an absolute bloody legend
  10. Clarks Pies have a website!? Game’s gone.
  11. Did you realise they sell better pies and pasties at the rugby than they do at the football. You’re missing out.
  12. City & the Bears have the remainder of a 125 yr lease (I think we are 6 years into it, roughly)
  13. Thought he came across as the only one who was coherent and easy to understand. I quite warmed to him.
  14. That was Gavin Marshall, our charismatic Group CEO. Looks like he'd had a quick kip in the bins before it started.
  15. For anyone in BS3 who's got the "Too good to go" app a Clark's Magic Bag usually gets you 4 pies or pasties. Great value for £3.90
  16. Bristol City has made some structural and personnel changes to the men’s first team support staff. The vacant Head of Medical Performance role will now be split between two positions – Head of Medical and Head of Athletic Performance. Andrew Proctor will step up to become the club’s interim Head of Medical whilst a full recruitment process for that role, welcoming internal and external applications, will get underway. The Medical Team will include two physiotherapists and two existing sports therapists. Derrick Bonsu (pictured above) has been promoted to Head of Athletic Performance, following the departure of Head of Fitness and Conditioning Patrick Orme. Patrick leaves the club with our thanks after seven years of service and we wish him the very best for his new role at Swansea City. Bonsu will have responsibility for the delivery of our sports science and strength and conditioning programmes. He will be supported by Andy Kavanagh, who will be joining us from Birmingham City as Head of Sports Science on December 4th, along with an existing strength and conditioning coach and assistant sports scientist.
  17. I remember the old ones at what was then St. George’s School on Russel Town Avenue. Pulis (spit) was very open and honest. Giving us an exclusive on the impending transfer of Jim Brennan to Forest. I think the chairman then was Laycock and he didn’t look happy!
