  1. Tapping into new markets obvs. I’m pretty sure their domain names will be secured for a very reasonable fee (for them!)
  2. I celebrated quite a lot last night just as practise for Friday!
  3. For anybody interested: https://www.bristolrugby.co.uk/news/bristol-rugby-senior-management-to-host-supporters-qa/ Timing wise this should be after the season ticket prices have been announced which might explain why Gavin Marshall (Bristol Sport Chief Financial Officer) will be at the top table alongside Lam & Tainton. They said that ST prices will be announced "mid-April" presumably banking on the title being sewn up before the Hartpury game - indeed if we beat Nottingham on Friday night and Ealing lose at Doncaster the next day we will be assure the title. Should be an interesting night - as the last couple have been.
  4. I thought the same. This year has been tough and assimilating almost an entirely new team into the squad over the summer to get t o where we need to be likely even tougher. It’s hardly been a breeze has it even with the quality in the squad - to see teams in the bottom half of the Prem of such quality is a scary prospect. Next year is going to be a slog of a season, no doubt about that in my mind.
  5. Ringfencing rearing it's head again - interesting thread on the Bris Forum: http://www.rugbynetwork.net/boards/read/s100.htm?102,16278839,page=1
  6. The northerners did get a Penalty Try though, but it was an awful game to watch. With almost an entire new team arriving in the summer Pat Lam has certainly got his work cut out if we're going to avoid relegation next year.
  7. Great result yesterday, Pat Lam was amazed it was played given the conditions but a win is a win. Shame no BP tho. Huge game Friday night to look forward to. C'mon Bris.
  8. Not quite as obviously Steven Luatua will be one of the mainstays of the team. Joe maybe? Siale?
  9. Haven't we already announced 15 (or close) new signings for the 2018/19 campaign?
  10. Sounded like an awful game, full of mistakes and poor officiating. We'll get pumped in the Prem at this rate
  11. Oh and we were sat (unbeknownst to us, to begin with) with Tutsi Pisi's family. Great crack and absolute rugby nutters.
  12. It's going to (not quite) go to the wire. We were at Ealing last week and a bloke we were talking to said (pretty much) that they were a Sunday club that had become too good. Their ground is great, and I think they'd have to move , but culturally they dont want Prem rugby.
  13. Ealing weren't great at AG as you say but we were lucky to beat them! Admittedly the team has grown and gelled since then but it will be a huge test, make no bones about it. I'm going up with @The Bard and several others for a good old fashioned day out on the train and expecting to get to Ealing's ground for the England game.
  14. You jinxed it! What a terrible game it was!
  15. FFS Protheroe is out for 6-9m with the injury he picked up at the weekend
  16. Exactly that - Lam said as much I think when the team was announced
  17. Hugely more experienced line up announced for Friday though v. Cardiff. We really need to stop conceding so many points though.
  18. Quote it then click in the quoted text and add, delete what you want. As above.
  19. Just waiting for someone to quote the entire initial post. COYR.
  20. This is what really annoys me - we're playing teams that train twice a week FFS yet still we concede far too many points.
  21. Yet still we concede far too many tries! If we're shipping points against Richmond and Pirates imagine how Chiefs and Sarries will profit from our usual loss of focus we seem to suffer from.
