  1. Not the start to the season most people expected! Most games will see us having to cope with the other side having a "cup final" mentality but that's no excuse. Poor kicking, sloppy interplay and awful lineouts made it a poor spectacle. Definitely need to gel together as a team more and quickly otherwise confidence will spiral downwards.
  2. There's the potential to watch a record breaking season for Bris this year. For anybody interested, POTD may be high as mentioned above, if you only go to a few games why worry about it? For those with STs or dual STs it promises to be a season of high entertainment at AG!
  3. A class performance apparently against Scarlets on Saturday but lost in the final minute. No mean feat against a very good side.
  4. I shall fetch my orthopaedic shoes in that case! Apologies @Coombsy
  5. What makes you think that Bristol Rugby have nowhere permanent to play? Are you in some sort of state of denial that City and Bris share Ashton Gate?
  6. You just have to listen to Pat Lam speak and he almost instantly inspires you. He hardly ever mentions rugby, but he talks about community, legacy, engagement, mentoring and how his teams train to win. It's amazing to hear. He could genuinely usher in an absolutely golden age of rugby at Bristol
  7. I said a year or two ago that Bris have the potential to be a giant in their sport. By the time LJs Europa League deadline has expired Bris could quite conceivably be champions of Europe.
  8. Bath I think this weekend up at Cribbs?
  9. The biggest gambler of the lot is Wally. And he's lost.
  10. Makes the Venkys look like solid custodians

  12. Just watched it; pretty bloody inspiring stuff. The season can't start quick enough for me now!
  13. I'd imagine there will be lots of exciting signings if we get an early return
  14. Agree. A BP win every game has to be the target. Whilst the teams we'll be playing against are hardly awe inspiring it will be great to watch the "new" Bristol revolution take shape. Should be a much more exciting and expansive brand of rugby that we've been used to. Bring it on I say!
  15. Luatua was awesome earlier. Great signing.
  16. As Mark Twain famously said "yer, where's me Chips to?"
  17. Thought the 2nd half was much better, Woodward had an absolute Weston though. JFR is a top bloke and will no doubt be in the Atyeo with Joe Joyce as usual tmrw. He will be missed and it was great to see him and Mitch both score on their last outing in the hoops.
  18. Remember it was all ". . . ground, ground, ground and they forgot about the team" that fateful day 3yrs ago. WATTBA
  19. Haven't the Prem shafted Bris enough in the past though?
  20. So Bath lost to Wuss today, eh. Hmmmm.
