  1. That was Gavin Marshall, our charismatic Group CEO. Looks like he'd had a quick kip in the bins before it started.
  2. For anyone in BS3 who's got the "Too good to go" app a Clark's Magic Bag usually gets you 4 pies or pasties. Great value for £3.90
  3. Bristol City has made some structural and personnel changes to the men’s first team support staff. The vacant Head of Medical Performance role will now be split between two positions – Head of Medical and Head of Athletic Performance. Andrew Proctor will step up to become the club’s interim Head of Medical whilst a full recruitment process for that role, welcoming internal and external applications, will get underway. The Medical Team will include two physiotherapists and two existing sports therapists. Derrick Bonsu (pictured above) has been promoted to Head of Athletic Performance, following the departure of Head of Fitness and Conditioning Patrick Orme. Patrick leaves the club with our thanks after seven years of service and we wish him the very best for his new role at Swansea City. Bonsu will have responsibility for the delivery of our sports science and strength and conditioning programmes. He will be supported by Andy Kavanagh, who will be joining us from Birmingham City as Head of Sports Science on December 4th, along with an existing strength and conditioning coach and assistant sports scientist.
  4. I remember the old ones at what was then St. George’s School on Russel Town Avenue. Pulis (spit) was very open and honest. Giving us an exclusive on the impending transfer of Jim Brennan to Forest. I think the chairman then was Laycock and he didn’t look happy!
  5. You'd hope so but by the same token I could easily imagine that we hadn't
  6. He's not that long into a 7-year contract though, isn't he?

  9. You also have to caveat this with the fact that Jon is a cufking idiot.
  10. It’s cloud bloody cuckoo land, that’s what it is.
  11. Given Jon's faculties, I'd imagine he's googled "Agents" and is currently getting loads of return calls from Thomas Cook & Lunn Polly!
  12. Sounds like, ummmmmm, Lee Johnson . . .

  14. Well done. Exactly the sort of thing they really really don't like though. Planet Lansdown will be in lockdown for a while now. A 3rd Take That gig in the summer?
  15. Can't see that being much fun. It'll just be the new gaffer and captain & how they want to "move on" from the past. If there even is one.
  16. Quite. An act of such grievous self-harm that could easily define the next "era" of the Lansdown's temporary stewardship of our club.
  17. that description. Someone needs to use it on Sound of the City tonight. Then refer to Steve Lansdown as Captain Crayon's dad. It the small things that get you through. I refer to him as the Crayola Kid.
  18. Getting rid of Nige would be absolutely peak Lansdown. For all his billions he really is quite insensible.
  19. 3 Prem clubs - Worcester, Wasps & Irish. Plus Jersey Reds from the Championship in the last week too.
