  1. There are monthly meetings which are online and anyone can dial in and attend When there are wheels in motion the fan base will be made aware straight away
  2. Sky are saying they are increasing to 44 live games next season
  3. She never recovered from the stick she got against City
  4. Apologies for repeating myself, but the SC&T have put a paper together and are in the early days of dialogue with the football club about how to improve the matchday experience and improve the atmosphere Whilst still in the early days the club have met with us on three occasions already and the SC&T are working with the club to see what can be done "easily" and what will "take more time" Supporters WILL be consulted before anything major changes and if there is enough interest anything is in theory possible
  5. That's a glitch as that section should only show fixtures We are a pretty decent bunch on here that I am sure would support his cause, I have created a new thread with the original details and added some more
  6. The below was posted somehow in our fixture list section on here by @SCDave and will be missed by many I'm sure many of us will get behind this fantastic effort to raise money for such an amazing charity Rovers fan in peace In aid of the Wallace & Gromit Grand Appeal in aid of Bristol Children's Hospital, I am taking the Wrong Trousers event one step further and wearing a City shirt at work and to the Rovers game v Cambridge on Tuesday 16 April. Hopefully this great cause can transcend football rivalry. Any donations will greatly be received to the just giving site: David Hewett is fundraising for Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal (justgiving.com) Many thanks Story As a mad keen Bristol Rovers fan, I am pledging to wear a City shirt (yuck!) at work and a Rovers game on Tuesday 16 April. I am preparing to suffer for a day, but nothing compared to what some of the brave children and families have to face. Hopefully the supporters of Bristol's two clubs, whether a Pirate or a red, can join together, to donate some pieces of eight and raise a large bounty to help staff, patients and their families on behalf of the Wallace and Gromit Grand Appeal. I'm just taking The Wrong Trousers Day, one step further and wearing the Wrong Shirt! The Grand Appeal puts Bristol Children's Hospital at the heart of everything they do by providing: Family accommodation: they run three accommodation houses that provide a safe and supportive place for families to stay while their child is in hospital. Medical research: they invest in medical research programmes to ensure the hospital remains a hub of innovation, where everyday experts pave the way for sick children through a network of projects with international impact. Equipment: they fund state-of-the-art equipment to save lives. Music, play and art therapy: their music, play and arts programme can be seen in every ward at Bristol Children's Hospital, helping young children to deal with the stresses and fears they may face during treatment. Art enhancements: they work to make sure Bristol Children's Hospital provides a fun, stimulating and comforting space for the brave children it cares for.
  7. An independent Disciplinary Commission (IDC) has determined that Sheffield United Football Club are to be deducted two points at the start of the next season the Club is in the EFL’s jurisdiction, with a further two points suspended until the end of that same season. The sanction relates to the 2022/23 season, when the Club defaulted on a number of payments to other Clubs. These defaults cumulatively were in excess of 550 days. The suspended points deduction will be activated if the Club defaults on any payment due to another Club under a transfer or compensation agreement for more than five business days from the due date for payment. The Club has agreed to pay the EFL’s costs in the sum of £310,455. The IDC’s Decision and written reasons are available to view on EFL.com.
  8. Much more to it than A&S Police, the SAG would have a say and it would have to be cost effective for the club too See below as well, nothing to do with JL offering a sweetener People moan about a lack of signings, why would we want to decrease the amount of money we bring in for this fixture? Rotherham are looking at less than 300 at the moment, and have only asked for 1000 tickets to sell Tickets have been on sale to both home and away supporters for a while now so too late to amend pricing structures - as already discussed on many occasions if home fans are offered cheaper pricing we would also have to offer it to away supporters At present there isn't any need to increase capacity for home fans, so the cost and time that would be required to be able to split the stand for one game is completely pointless You are certainly a dog with a bone on away allocations at our ground, it is worth sharing the EFL rules: 34.2 Facilities for visiting supporters 34.2.1 Each Club must make provision for at least 2,000 visiting supporters at every home match or such number as represents 10% of the Club’s certified capacity, if less than 2,000. The League may, on the prior written application of a Club, suspend this Regulation or reduce the figure either for a particular League Match or for a period of time. Each Club shall, subject to any dispensations granted by the Board, make provision for at least 200 of the visiting supporters to be accommodated under cover. Any Club which fails to meet the requirement of 200 visiting supporters being accommodated under cover and which does not have a dispensation granted by the Board shall have such amounts as the Board shall determine (in its absolute discretion) withheld from that Club’s central distributions from the Pool Account until such time as the Club can meet the requirement. 34.2.2 Clubs are required to sell tickets for their away matches if required to do so by the Home Club and similarly Home Clubs are required to supply tickets for their Home Matches to the Away Club for sale by the Away Club to its supporters if so requested by the Away Club. These tickets are to be made available on a sale or return basis and must be ordered by the Away Club at least five weeks before the League Match to which they relate. The Home Club must deliver those tickets to the Away Club at the latest four weeks before the League Match to which they relate. Where any match is arranged at shorter notice the above steps shall be taken as soon as is reasonably practicable. Visiting Supporters should also have the same opportunity to take advantage of pre-booking discounts that apply to home supporters. 34.2.3 For League Matches only, the Away Club shall be entitled to a commission representing 5 (five) per cent of the aggregate sales (exclusive of VAT) of tickets sold on behalf of the Home Club, unless otherwise agreed between the Clubs. The Away Club shall submit a VAT invoice, in respect of the commission due, to the Home Club within five working days of the date of the match taking place. 34.2.4 The Away Club may charge a booking fee or transaction charge to the customer providing this is exactly the same in every respect as that which it charges for tickets to its own home matches. 34.2.5 Each Club shall, not later than 30 June prior to the commencement of the following Season, provide to The League a ground/zone plan together with associated ticket prices (‘Pricing Plan’). The Pricing Plan shall be accompanied by the Club’s ground registration form. 34.2.6 The League shall provide copies of each Pricing Plan to all other Clubs within the relevant Division. For the avoidance of doubt this will only be done once all Pricing Plans have been received for the relevant Division. 34.2.7 A Club may not depart from the Pricing Plan without the prior consent of the relevant Away Club. In the event that the Home Club and Away Club are unable to reach agreement the dispute shall be referred to The League whose decision shall be final and binding. 34.2.8 No Club shall charge higher admission prices for visiting supporters for accommodation that is ranked as comparable with or inferior to that used by supporters of the Home Club in the same or next highest ranked accommodation.
  9. This is part of the recent problem, how quickly people forgot how bad it got at times in the past
  10. phantom

    Shirt?

I believe that it quickly became apparent that people not associated with supporting City were voting and picking the worst kit Lets be honest we would be doing the same if the sags ran a similar thing in a local paper
  11. phantom

    Shirt?

    Speculation has already started
  12. Won't happen, there is simply not the demand for the additional seats
  13. They will be bringing less than 300 But not worth the hassle of changing the layout of the stand and it's entry and exit points when there will be more than enough seats around the rest of the ground Simple answer is that we can't in its current form, hence why it only gets mentioned on here randomly and not by anyone else
  14. and many start pointless threads digging it all up again
  15. They also said about the replacement being made
  16. Just because someone is playing well doesn't mean they're off in the next transfer window Let's have a bit of realism
  17. You would have been very impressed this evening Pushed Blackburn onto the back foot and into needless mistakes Now to build on it
  18. Was always going to be a poor Gate tonight Saturday will be more telling, how many come back
  19. Football fans are a very fickle bunch
  20. phantom

    Mbude

My thoughts exactly Pay him off, thank him for his time and give him a long holiday He can't be going back to Westerlo so time to get ahead of the game and sort his future out
  21. That was Blackburns only win in the last twelve games
  22. I'm not sure if it's the same on Robins TV or just on the sky red button coverage But you can hear lots of background noise from the kids section, sounds like a playground up there
