Didn't we get a goal disallowed for nothing in the same game last season?

Did you miss me? :-) Long time lurker - but negative ramblings of Mr Tann brought me temporarily out from my cover. If the guy genuinely is a Rovers fan he must have a huge chip on his shoulder or serious issues with the club about something to be so constantly critical. Back to back promotions, Wonga loan cleared, improvements (albeit small) to the Memorial Stadium to improve the matchday experience for everyday fans (cleaner, sanitary toilets, sprucing up the bars etc) - yet not one word in SUPPORT of 'his' (or her) team. Ever. Anyway, I'm off again now.. hope everyone is well and having an enjoyable Summer! Toodleoo all!
I present to you the first evidence that he is indeed Gas.

If ever we were to leave Ashton Gate I would bet my house it would be a dam sight more than 3200 odd, shameful the way they surrendered their home like that, typical gasheads will put up with any old shit.
Probably more than that in the East End on it's last day.

According to the sell out franchise we're "gutted" http://gaschat.co.uk/thread/5985/sh-gutted-pantsdowns
Hang on a minute.... I'm confused...... Has one of them written #Mindthegap ?
I'm not sure they quite understand that it only works if your team is higher in the league tables- Mind you it has been a long time since they were.

Haven't been able to listen to it today but sky basically said that boro were clinging on. Sounds like we thoroughly deserved it.

Get in!!! You reds!!!
-
On my hols at the moment so won't be part of the red army taking over a small section of the Midlands today.
But enjoy lads and lasses and stay safe in the knowledge that there will be one city fan praying at the Vatican this afternoon for a victory! (And some nice new signings....).

Down Newquay for the weekend. Does anybody know of pub down here that's definitely showing the game? Been told in one that they only show 'big games'.
Is a shit hole but Walk about will probably show it on at least one screen. I watched us win 1-0 at Forest there a few years back when on a stag, had to ask but they put it on for me.

Don't forget to mention that they thrashed those Pantomine dames from Swindon in the play offs ... Oh you did n't .
Just trying to be as historically accurate as possible.

The Preston by pass was opened in 1958 becoming Britain's first motorway, it later became part of the M6. The M6 being the route many Preston fans took to watch their team thrash Swindon 4-0 at Wembley stadium in the 2015 play-off final.
The black Horse pub is the only one in the country to have 3 public entrances on 3 different streets. Coincidently Jermaine Beckford scored 3 goals in the 2015 League 1 play-off final thrashing of Swindon.

So... have I missed anything interesting on here tonight? ;-)

I don't see how performances by a completely different set of players under a different manager from earlier years has any bearing on how well they would do in the play offs this year.
Was merely commenting on the poster saying Sheffield United's playoff record wasn't very good.
-
I reckon it'll be them and Sheffield Utd in the pray off final with PNE winning going on the fact they've scored more and conceded less than Sheffield Utd so far plus Sheffield Utd Pray Off record isn't that great if I'm correct.
Isn't Prestons record in the playoffs the worst in history? (Possibly second to ours...)

No - never! CTID.
That's what I thought. Drinking cider at half 8 in the morning on your own is every city fans birth right and is perfectly normal.... Right?

We did sell between 40-45k at wembley. But for a nothing trophy.... Not a season defining game on our first trip to the new wembley.
We sold just over 42k tickets for the jpt final.
What is my source i hear you shout....
Well now that i don't work there anymore i can come clean... I worked for ticketmaster for 10 years. And i was directly involved in our ticket dispatch alongside (for those that know her on here) jayne mags.
