I hope they have enough money left to give the 2014/15 non league play off trophy (won on pens) a bit of a polish.
Surely they don't need polish? After all, it's plastic and a quick rub with a damp cloth will suffice....

Didn't someone post on here in the week that if it came down to LJ vs Harry, was only going to be one winner? Proven.

Colin Daniel has been fined by magistrates for polluting the countryside. Waste dumped in a lane by a contractor paid by Daniel, was found to have items that were deemed dangerous to the environment. The waste, which included cardboard boxes, bin liners full of plaster, a delivery box addressed to Daniel and an old football shirt, was fly-tipped on Old Newark Road in Mansfield. Magistrates ordered Daniel to take the majority of the waste to a proper refuse site at his own expense and, imposed a fine of £850, a victim surcharge of £170 and costs totalling £521, after the council were forced to dispose of the shirt at the Sellafield nuclear recycling plant.
Read more at: http://www.chad.co.uk/news/former-mansfield-town-footballer-colin-daniel-fined-for-waste-offence-1-7059382Seems odd to take a football shirt all the way to Sellafield to dispose of it? Although having tried to burn a Gas one at Oxford one Sat afternoon many a year ago and failed miserably because it simply wouldn't combust, i can see why the might and power of a nuclear incinerator might be called upon!

I believe they're purchasing an extra squeegy mop.
Or just employing a groundsman with a really weak bladder.....

Excellent second half. Credit to LJ and the team for turning it around.
At about 2pm there were 5-6 Barnsley fans walking down North St chanting obnoxiously and unnecessarily about Bristol being a s***hole (oh the irony), trying to intimidate families going about their business. Big men. Glad their journey home will feel longer after a defeat.
Having had the misfortune of sitting in Barnsley Bus Station one Sat afternoon killing time before a game watching the (literal) human detritus coming in off the towns/villages, calling Bristol a s***hole should be taken as a compliment!
Yorkshire puddings! (as the Macc Lads would say...)

We need to go for the win, put our fate (somewhat) back in our own hands, let other teams (Blackburn, Forest, Brum, Wigan, Burton) worry about us rather than us have to rely on other results. There's enough pressure at this time in the season.
Let's 'tyke' this opportunity and make ourselves safe for Championship football next season.

Just seen the EP / BP headline of speculation of a stadium announcement after the Millwall game. Could be carnage all round!
Millwall might take it upon themselves to dismantle it....during the game!

Twerton Parks capacity is 8840 so they would be better off going back and playing there and claiming a sell out (some weeks) .
They've probably forgotten where it is and get there late, locked out....

Do you think if enough of us write in, we can get them on '60min Makeover'? Not enough for DIY SOS to do in 9 days but a lick of paint, some soft furnishings, scatter cushions, carpet offcuts should do the trick....
