  1. Me too Rob, while waiting for the Hob to open for a burger! Were you the old alchy smoking outside? Sorry, one of the old alchies smoking outside?! The Oxford lot turned up at the Hob just after midday.
  2. Haha maybe mate. I did have to chuckle, I was in the Hobgoblin and there must have been 100/150 Oxford lads there, with no sign of the ob. The main Oxford kiddy was on the phone to those kings of tunnelling the GHS, only to be told that they 'weren't organised' to meet up as planned. A bit like their defence, stadium planners, grotto arrangers and tent providers then haha.
  3. Reckon they might have a tricky day off the pitch too, there's a fair old mob of Oxford taking the piss on Gloucester Road atm.
  4. Hearn hasn't signed him mate, DAZN have- so now they have Matchroom, Golden Boy and the WBSS. That and Belator for $9.99 a month is very tempting given single PPVs in the states are $80- $100. He did just pay Povetkin millions to fight AJ though, so I think it's fair to say his PED attitude is flexible according to his bank account requirements. I don't think he's thrown Fielding under a bus tbh, he was never going to fight one of the biggest names in the sport at MSG based on his boxing ability alone was he?! Eddie and DAZN just paid for Rocky's retirement. Given the 11 fight deal Canelo has signed, I suspect we are about to see a bigger queue of cab drivers than Saturday on the centre at 2am!
  5. Fair play mate, please post some pictures on here if you get chance! Mauricio Sulaimán just installed him as Wilder's next mandatory.
  6. Exactly the way I saw it mate. No doubt the right man won. Ritson does not like being punched in the guts haha.
  7. So close. Couldn't argue with any result on the cards. Fair play Patera, he came to fight.
  8. He doesn't seem to have a plan b eh mate. If he would only throw the uppercut as Patera comes in.
  9. Good fight this now. If Patera had a bit more pop RItson would be *******.
  10. Ritson's jab is excellent. He reminds me of Hatton in his all action pressure fighting style. It's matter of time until he takes Pantera out. edit-d'oh ?
  11. The ref isn't wearing that shirt again haha.
  12. Foot's eccentric hairline is doing all of the damage!
  13. Dready Zlatan repeating the name of the fighters in the announcements is really weird. The knobend. Knobend.
  14. Yeah mate, you saw it go. Fantastic tear up that. Foot Davies Jnr could be really good too.
  15. That was bloody great. Fair play to Joe, he channelled the crowd brilliantly there. What a fight.
  16. He would destroy Yarde in short order imo mate.
  17. No I disagree, every time they raise up the level of his opponents he goes straight through them. Amazing attitude too.
  18. Buatsi is very, very good. Not only will he be a world champion, but he will be either a multi-weight or unified world champion. 25 years old ffs.
  19. I am cackling at the television, this is ******* great haha!
  20. Evening Owl! I reckon this could be a decent card you know. Operation White Rhino continues, Foot v Davies Jnr could be a very good fight and I enjoy watching Buatsi too. The atmosphere will be amazing for the Geordie Golovkin too haha.
  21. It was such a wonderful day! I was sat outside Severnshed with some mates following their desperate attempts to equalise on my phone, and as it became more apparent that it really might happen other City fans there came over after hearing our shouting. We went ******* tonto at the final whistle haha. We had a couple more celebratory beers before getting a taxi to Gloucester Road (I live in enemy territory!) and got in to find the driver was a beaming fellow City fan pissing himself at the whole affair too! Their shell shocked faces in the pubs in BS7 that night were a beautiful sight to behold, especially for someone like me who had been at Twerton on 02/05/90!
  22. But it was an MMA match, not a boxing match, and he got mauled. Don't just take my word for it: Also I think you're painting McGregor as the innocent party far too much, he injured several fighters lobbing that trolley through the bus window in April (with zero punishment from the UFC) and acted like a complete tosser in the build up. He called Khabib a 'backwards ****' for refusing to drink whiskey at a presser although he knows he is a devout Muslim, called his manager a terrorist and his dad a 'quivering coward' who betrayed his ethnicity by being pally with Kadyrov the Chechen dictator. I'm not seeking to justify the cheap shots he got at the end, just saying that if you're going to keep kicking a hornet's nest, eventually you're getting stung.
