  1. Haha this is farcical, Serferi can't even rech Tyson's chin hahaha!
  2. I'm looking forward to him calling out AJ after he knocks out this mighty Albanian taxi driver.
  3. Yeah of course, I just completely disagree with them haha. Flanagan barely connected with anything other than his head all fight!
  4. I know! It wasn't Adelaide Bird was it?!
  5. Horrific clash of heads there. Flanagan is in deep water but he's going for it.
  6. Actually I got that from the Mirror https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/boxing/tyson-fury-seferi-live-stream-12671964 and everywhere else seems to say around 10. As Flanagan is on now the latter seems more likely. So it won't be too late for you after all! edit- poor Robinson will have his balls in a bucket of ice for the night @joe jordans teeth
  7. Yeah, agree with all of that. Gorman's hand speed is exceptional for his size and he bangs as well. He did a proper number on Turner tonight, gave him a pasting.
  8. No, closer to 11 apparently. Flanagan is fighting for a world title at about 10. Anyone see Gorman? He looked excellent, he's a great boxer for a hw. Only 21 too, although he looks about 40. edit- Flanagan Hooker looks spicy, everyone was having a go at each other at the weigh in haha. Hooker's trainer seems quite the nause:
  9. Of course, but that would at least have the legitimacy of being a final eliminator for a mandatory challenger for Wilder's belt (bizarre as that patently is). Mind you, Bellew is at number 5 in the WBC HW rankings hahaha
  10. Absolutely mate, it was more of a random speculation about how they might build the bill rather than any informed shouts. 7 weeks notice isn't enough to get many serious fights over the line, unless there has been a major amount of behind the scenes work going on. I wouldn't mind betting that Bellotti v Doyle 2 and the Cheese himself will be on the bill!
  11. I'm going to guess one or both of Brook and/ or Khan. Crolla perhaps? Ricky Burns and Luke Campbell haven't been out for a little while. It's probably too soon for Quigg after the panelling he got from Valdez haha. Callum Johnson is possibly fighting Beterbiev, maybe Hearn will stick that on there too, if Artur will come over for it? Seems a bit soon for that though tbh. Eddie's going to have to do something spectacular to justify the PPV, because the reaction today has been outright outrage by and large. Had to laugh at him claiming Whyte Parker is the biggest fight to be made in the division other than AJ Wilder. Yeah, righto Edward.
  12. If he wanted a more direct path to AJ or Wilder, he could have fought Pulev to become the IBF mandatory or Ortiz to become Wilder's WBC mandatory. Hearn must have something up his sleeve politically with this fight or it doesn't make much sense in that context. I can't say I've been impressed by Parker in his last few fights tbh, I don't think he did anything v AJ to justify being on box office again. He has a decent skill set but doesn't hit hard enough at elite level. Whyte is improving technically but still telegraphs most of his power shots and is much slower than Parker in most aspects. I am in the minority it seems but this fight doesn't really excite me much. I think their styles may well clash and produce a bit of a messy, boring fight. I would much rather have seen Whyte v Ortiz, Pulev or even Breazeale if the Alabama windmill decides the latter is too scary for him. I can only echo what others have said too, there must be an immense undercard incoming or this is Matchroom's worst PPV since Cleverly Bellew 2 imo.
  13. That's a turnaround, Parker was meant to be fighting Jennings. Whyte must not fancy that trip to Bulgaria v Pulev or fighting Ortiz. Could be a boxing clinic from Parker imo, he may make Dillian look very rudimentary.
  14. Definitely. He looks like he's in his forties haha.
  15. Doyle v Bellotti was fantastic and Ted Cheeseman was excellent. Okolie Watkins is about to start.
  16. Agree with this- although i would say father time is starting to catch up with Gennady too. I don't think it's possible to knock him out but the reflexes are starting to slow down a bit. BJS would be a very awkward fight for him- although I would love to see Saunders get ktfo by GGG, especially after the shite he's been spouting about Murray in the last couple of days. All the reports today are that Golden Boy have walked from the GGG Canelo 2 negotiations, so we will see if BJS fights one of them in September. I reckon Clenelo will probably go for the significantly easier fight with Spike O'Sullivan tbh. I guess it depends whether Saunders has the balls to back up his gob and fancies a pop at Gennady, because the latter surely wants his last MW belt! NXTGEN from the York Hall tonight chaps, Okolie Watkins should be good, and the British debut of Daniyar Yeleussinov too.
  17. I'm a lot less confident than I was before their last fights mate. You do wonder if Groves's shoulder can hold up again though, I still think Mundo is going to be too strong for him. Speaking of shoulders, it turns out Loma fought most of the Linares fight with a torn labrum, he's out until December - which makes the Mikey fight pretty unlikely sadly. It makes his performance v Jorge even more incredible imo
  18. Anyone see Kal Yafai on Saturday? Incredible, ballsy performance from the brummie Gatti haha
  19. Well that didn't last long. Poor McDonnell got destroyed in 1 minute and 50 seconds. Inoue is frightening, but McDonnell looked like he was dangerously dehydrated to make the weight. edit- apparently he put on 26lbs after the weigh in, wtaf.
  20. RIP Brendan Ingle. A sad day for Sheffield @Owl Visiting. Edit- shit, just saw Dean Francis has died too. RIP Dean.
