  1. He looked as great as ever but Rigo was shocking. I don't understand how he managed to damage his hand barely throwing and without landing any punches. Thin air doesn't usually hurt to hit does it. I can only presume it was done when the ref was trying to peel him off of Loma. Rigo realised he had no chance very early, quit as soon as he thought it decent and didn't even put up a token effort before that. Hugely disappointing.
  2. Inexplicable performance from DeGale against a limited if gutsy opponent. He has got away with taking periods of the fight off to lay against the ropes before- particularly against Badou Jack- but tonight his luck ran out. Such a frustrating character, he has the tools to be top level but not the attitude or ring generalship imo.
  3. Haha you have to time the intake just right mate so you don't end up shitfaced with nowhere to go at 6 am!
  4. Definitely mate, beats cracking Jazza Dickens' jaw at the Cardiff Ice Arena for £10k eh. No more than a keep busy fight for both DeGale and Selby on BT tonight- there's some doubt about Ramirez even turning up because he missed the weight by miles. There's a slight increase in the quality of the opposition for Yarde and Dubois but not enough to delay them for long.
  5. The balls of Rigo to fight Lomachenko at this weight, bloody hell.
  6. Bloody hell, Hatton Mayweather was a decade ago. Great article on it here http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/42264265 I don't know if he'd have won but Ricky certainly would have run Mayweather a lot closer if he wasn't fighting that knob Cortez too.
  7. Around 0400 to 04.30, it's scheduled for 2300 in NY. The undercard is litter unfortunately so I reckon I'll get up rather than stay up for this one. It's telling that there haven't been any pictures of them together yet, Rigo is going to have to perform a miracle to get around the size difference. Can't wait to see him try. Bellew Haye is rearranged for 05/05/18 I see, can't say I'm particularly confident it'll go ahead.
  8. Yes mate, they have the entire Super Series http://www.itv.com/news/2017-09-05/itv-box-office-to-screen-world-boxing-super-series/
  9. Not forgetting his rendition of 'Between the Lines' after he beat Cunningham haha 0:54 here
  10. I agree, he obviously wasn't interested in relevance or he wouldn't have opted to fight Haye again.
  11. No way would Parker's team accept that fight this late- especially with the negotiations for a spring fight with AJ for literally 10 times the money already underway.
  12. Ffs. It would probably have been an unedifying spectacle anyway. Haye's body is giving up on him, he should just piss off now tbh. Just goes to show that if you don't live the life it catches up with you.
  13. Frampton just, Garcia has a chin hewn from granite.
  14. Poor Conlan had the exact opposite of fun tonight, bloody hell. Ancajas wasn't even breathing hard, he was in a different league.
  15. Frampton had the royal hump that Cyclone hadn't delivered him a massive fight against LSC or someone of a similar stature at Windsor Park as promised afaik, instead he got slated to fight that no mark who fell over pre fight at the Odyssey, his career seemed to be going in reverse.
  16. I'm with you mate, I think Junior may beat Groves unfortunately but I think Mundo would take care of him. That was a fantastic tear up between Carroll and De Santiago, brilliant.
  17. Yep I am mate, haven't we done well not to lose any fighters to convenient bathroom disasters this time in Belfast! Good point today, it's really starting to look like we may be contenders this season. Edit- Tete just knocked Gonya into the next dimension hahaha Here it is: At 03:14
  18. I see Amir Khan is on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of here. You'd have thought he'd already made more than enough of a w @ nker of himself for one year tbh.
  19. After 50 seconds here mate hahaha
  20. Taylor looked great, worked out a very awkward fighter and put him away in style. Fair play to him, he may be very, very good.
  21. Don't know if it's dropping the act or having had a guts full of people chatting shit about fighting him and easily beating him but doing the square root of **** all to back it up. Either way, long may the new angry Joshua continue imo. He may even get @Phileas Fogg onside at this rate!
  22. Shitting hell, what a punch from Bivol! He is an absolute monster. Him v Beterbiev, oh my days... edit- said right hand.Oof!
  23. Some strike that! We will see you on the 18th mate...
