I understand your point...but what I'm really refering to, is the day to day experience.

Just standards. Everyday standards. Things that affect us daily.

Manners, lack of respect, no thought for anyone else, how ones actions would affect others. Aggression, no self control, no patience etc, etc, etc.

It is more common these days sadly...across all generations.

    Standards have dropped. In general.

What does encourage me though, is not all is lost.

There are still those that have standards and have been brought up well...or have done so off their own accord.

My friend employs 6 under 20's, who are some of the most intelligent and respectful driven young adults I've ever met. I meet them most days and they always amaze me in some way or other.

    Total respect to their parents.

    So there is hope.

I recently saw a half eaten burger and it's wrapper come flying out of a car window. I picked it up and threw it with some force back at the man in the car, the burger struck him on the shoulder and splattered Source and grease all over his white t shirt. He must've been late fifties. He got out his car and chased me down the street making all kinds of threats and turning the air blue with some horrific language. This was on a Sunday morning and there were plenty of families with kids in the church car park who witnessed the whole thing.

So yes bad behaviour is around and often it comes from older people who should know better.

I agree...I won't...for reasons worth keeping...so if people want to give grief, so be it. Just my opinion based on first hand. If they want to comment otherwise based on first hand, then go for it.

Their arguments are based on comments given on Bristol post...nothing more. Might as well give up if that's the level

Not that I agree but I think triple T is saying that you are lying about your first hand stuff to cover for the hating Bakinson comment and also to show off by being all cryptic about insider knowledge. He likens you to a a schoolboy who makes outrageous claims:

    "I can fly"

    "Go on then"

"No, I don't feel like it at the moment"

Unfortunately the only way you can change his mind is by revealing in detail your reasons for hating Bakinson. I understand that you are not willing to do this, most likely for honourable reasons, so this one will remain a stalemate.

Liam has the IQ of a squid. A total bellend and  someone of his intellect can’t take the piss out of anyone. He is thick as shit.

Hmmm not sure about that. He's self aware enough to take the piss out of himself. I quite like him these days. Noel's the more annoying one for me.

I'll be interested in how they present it and what the coverage is like.

Brings it out of deeefence, oh lookout going downtown.. and it's Chad Rawlings the third with his patented head flick into the goal zone.

Was working in Edinburgh and on Jock TV saw a programme where they worked out the size comparison between goals and the average height of males(goalkeepers) when the rules are first introduced. With the current height of keepers the goals they experimented with were huge.

They then played a game and the attacking teams still played as normal until they realised there was a lot more space around the keeper that they could score in. Blimey did the shots start raining in then from all angles and distances.

Would certainly make for some high scoring games.

    Yeah and kill the drama

  6. I once knew a man who put mint Source on his porridge every morning. He also used to carry spare vests in his bag and hoist them up flagpoles when he came across one.

Rather unconventional fellow. I wonder what became of him. I'm always on the lookout for a hoisted vest flapping in the breeze, or a figure hunched over a bowl in a caff with Source satchets all around. Could you do the same and let me know if you meet him?  A good lad he was.
