Why can't Nige throw in a bit of jargon and a few buzz phrases to spice up his post match interviews? I'm not saying overkill like with LJ but at least some juicy tidbits to freshen it up a bit. Something like the "busy little bees" quote or "clubs in the bag, if you like".

The whole climate change causing rising sea levels thing is a cover story to hide the effect of the underwater Bidens.

There were a couple of good versions on PS2/3 era but it's been in steady decline really every since.

The latest one, the now free to play model eFootball is a disaster from launch. Konami even posted an appology. Might be worth another look in month or so once they've patched it a bit but i think this could be the end of what once was the better of the two games, at least in how it played, the lack of real player names, teams etc never really bothered me.

Yeah me too, always much preferred PES. It's kind of been with me for years so I'm a bit sad to see this new direction. Yes fingers crossed they patch it good.

Also, they have had real player names and likeness for years, just the teams, stadiums and strips that were dodgy. I always sorted that with a option file from ebay for cheap. it actually ended up looking good once that was done.

I heard FIFA is awful again. The new free PES e-football thing is glitchy. I downloaded it and there was an apology that "some players are shown as a floating suit in the cut scenes" . The gameplay feels pretty bad too.

Anyone going to be playing either of these?
