  1. Home to Barrow in the 3rd round please.
  2. 3 mins added time, Barrow commentators saying they've had hardly any decisions
  3. Above. This game was hardly fair, Bristol Rovers facing a professional club who have 11 men on the pitch, and they weren't even given a penalty!
  4. Rovers miss when everyone in the stadium expected a goal, keeper was on the floor after a save just seen the miss, he was inside the 6 yard box, open goal
  5. cant be long, was a 2pm kick off, haven't heard a time from the commentators though edit- 9 minutes
  6. Rovers hit the underside of the bar, this has echoes of that fateful day in May 2014
  7. 500 mile round trip for the Barrow fans
  8. Way up in Cumbria, brought over 300
  9. Over 300 of those came down from Barrow, for a non league side, coming all the way from Cumbria on a Sunday that's not a bad effort.
  10. These commentators are great, after barrow fans being the louder lot all the way through the first 45 its been quiet in terms of atmosphere in the second half. Then in the background there's a bit of "B-R-F-C Darrell Clarkes barmy army" Commentator says "sounds like about 15 or so Rovers fans singing a song at last, nice of you to turn up" Attendance estimated at about 4000
  11. City fan Ellis Harrison comes on at HT for the horse punchers, Sinclair has a shot that goes for a throw in!
  12. started at 2, Barrow probably been closest to getting a second. In fact they have just this second had a penalty shout denied, with the striker booked for diving. Commentators adamant it was a penalty "all day long"
  13. Radio Cumbria commentators said they've heard Gas fans saying "this is just a sunday game against a non league side they've never heard of" Short memories at the Memorial Stadium I think. Barrows manager today is the one who managed Mansfield on that famous day in 2014.
  14. On the radio all the noise is the Barrow fans, even when Rovers were ahead.
  15. 1-1, rovers went ahead, Barrow just equalised
  16. Including the away end (but only when there's trouble of course, it's always us)
  17. Surely £900 isn't too much for their zillionaire?!
  18. Pretty sure he wasn't sent off for the foul. The referee very clearly gets a yellow out, I think he was going to be booked but was sent off for something then said to the ref.
  19. Using #gaslogic we have never lost to a non-league side, which actually made the statistic better in a way. In the 34 years they limit our history to we have a net promotion of 2 divisions, 3 EFL Trophy wins and a league title, a league cup semi final, 2 EFL Trophy runners up medals, and been runners up in a division 3 times. In the same amount of time Rovers have 1 league title, been runners up in the ELF trophy twice and been relegated in the semi-professional leagues. The also managed the honour of being the only league side ever to fail to qualify for the league cup. Rovers do have a number of Gloucester Cup wins, but I ignored them as they are played against sides 4-5 plus leagues below them, and even those teams send out their reserves. In the interest of balance I ignored the Johnson Cup win and our defeat in the Blackthorn Cup (that friendly against Rangers about 3 years ago).
  20. So we haven't lost to a non league side in over a century, and our horse punching 'friends' were playing them regularly (with defeats) circa 18 months ago
  21. Couldn't resist, it contained "squat" and this is a thread about the squatters
