Plymouth Argyle away match thread
fixit replied to Jerseybean's topic in The Havanatopia Match Day Archive
BBC Sport are reporting; Director of Football Neil Dewsnip and first-team coach Kevin Nancekivell will take charge of the team for the remainder of the season. First team coach Simon Ireland and goalkeeping coach Daryl Flahavan - who joined the club under Foster - will stay on their roles. No new saviour it seems... -

That's all we need. I wish some of our squad wouldn't be such mates with the opposition as soon as the final whistle blows. They need to be stronger, particularly as we don't see that when we do manage to grind out a result..... -

On a night like tonight; Fewer mistakes and being able to be compete for 90 minutes, against any team in the division. It's not too much to ask, especially when you consider some of the talent we have. -

I've had an further twenty years of hurt and the emotions just get worse. We had all the ingredients but no-one with the right recipe. -

What? For the last three seasons? Take a broader view FFS! Are we getting the best out of this squad? Tonight, suggests not. -

Is it still the general feeling that NP is good for us? I can't understand it. For me, tonight shows we are a mid table side at best. 2nd best. Ipswich were promoted last season FFS! We've made such little progress during his tenure. We need a change that can actually produce an result in the league table.- 636 replies

Swansea City away FA Cup replay match thread

After midnight I'd have thought. Tapes will probably have to be driven to Cardiff and then the highlights edited together before they're fed out to the various TV rights holders etc. -
Greenwood has now been charged, so the usual legal restrictions now apply.

No wonder the players don't listen to the coaches if they're all as soporific as Mickey Bell. Absolutely dreadful - Sack the management as they don't have what it takes. -

We are completely hopeless at taking advantage of opportunities we're given. We just relaxed straight after the sending off when we needed to focus. This team needs a complete change of attitude ASAP -

It's partly mental but that squad aren't as fit as they should be. Both Saturday and tonight too many players were slow & exhausted by 80 mins - Baker threw himself in because he didn't have the legs. Get them fit for 100 minutes rather than 80 and we'll have a better chance. -

Have to agree - Jake really isn't looking at this objectively! -
You mean Mangotsfield, which was 1548KHz or 194meters medium wave for us oldies. The normal Saturday configuration is the Bristol side that are away get 94.9 FM (or VHF) transmitting from Dundry. The Home side will now be on DAB only in Bristol, due to the demise of the Medium Wave service. For an evening match - who knows! Depends how many of the local sides are playing but FM is 1st choice for football if only one of the Bristol sides are in action. Barmy logic if you ask me, no wonder so many people can't find the right commentary. Other stations are organised much better.
