  1. I was in hospital with a broken leg that night listening to the game on headphones. A nurse came in to take my temperature just as City scored.
  2. Been to loads of away games over the years but the one game that springs to mind is the 0:1 victory at Arsenal on the opening day of the season after promotion to the fist devision. I’m glad I was there!
  3. I’ve got daughters and granddaughters, I know why there’s a lot of angry people on social media!!!

I was thinking that myself. I haven’t seen it kick off for a long time. Much rather have it like it is now, going to a game to watch the football ?
  5. Whatever your view on all this equality stuff is you should have watched “on the ball” the other Saturday, It was like watching loose women. I had to turn it off.
  6. I thought that when I saw him play. Got a good engine on him and likes a tackle. One of those players who will bring the best out of those who play along side him.
  7. They could win the title soon then?
  8. For all his faults, i quite liked Fammy when he was here but he wasn’t one of the best strikers to put on a city shirt. Would I want him back? No chance, he’s gone and won’t be missed.
  9. Everyone knows where Wells is, its over the bridge!
  10. We do some work up there. All the seating is covered and a lovely pitch as well!
  11. He drives a much better car than Bent ever did!
  12. Was going out on the night so wanted to leave a bit early. I was absolutely glued to my seat for the whole game. Took me a few hours and a couple of drinks to calm down.
  13. If you thought Jeans and Savage were bad you should have seen it yesterday. What a joke, it was like watching Lose Women! I actually turn it off.
  14. Just watched the goal on YouTube as I was sat at the other end of the ground. Must say it was a really good finish from a very tight angle. Good turn and shot from Martin as well.
  15. We went toe to toe with a team who will most probably go up this season. Some of their players are on premiership wages and we couldn’t afford to buy a striker this summer. I thought it was a cracking game of football and I think the future is bright, we’re going in the right direction.
  16. What a player! Changed the game and was everywhere. The future looks bright ?
  17. 14 games without a win at home and when you think that things can’t get much worse you’ve brought this to my attention!
  18. I see Gregg Cunningham is on the bench for Preston. That is one ex player I can’t stand, always seem to like a windup whenever he comes back to Aston Gate.
  19. Should imagine Pearson will work on his composure and finishing. Who knows he might hit 20 this season?
  20. I think he has a lot of potential and Moyes would have definitely brought out the best in him. Maybe the Roma move will be good for him, we’ll have to wait and see?
